Remida, un centro di ricerca
sulla sostenibilità
Remida, ideato nel 1996 a Reggio Emilia, è un
progetto culturale di sostenibilità, creatività e
ricerca sui materiali informali. Promuove l’idea che
lo scarto, l’imperfetto, sia portatore di bellezza,
capace di sollecitare riflessioni, proporsi come
risorsa educativa, sfuggendo così alla definizione di
“inutile” e di “rifiuto”. Oltre 200 aziende del territorio
aderiscono al progetto, devolvendo materiale
destinato allo smaltimento, che Remida recupera,
dispone e offre per progetti culturali e didattici.
Remida è un progetto dell’Istituzione Scuole e Nidi
d’Infanzia del Comune di Reggio Emilia e di Iren.
La sua gestione è affidata alla Fondazione Reggio
Children - Centro Loris Malaguzzi.
Remida fa parte del sistema Reggio Emilia
Approach e la sua specificità è la relazione
dell’uomo con il suo ambiente dal punto di vista
antropologico, economico, socio-educativo,
artistico e biologico, in un incontro felice tra la
cultura della sostenibilità e la creatività.
Lo staff è composto da 3 persone, affiancate da
un atelierista e una pedagogista dell’Istituzione
Scuole e Nidi d’Infanzia, più un gruppo di 20
volontari che sostengono le attività di tutti i giorni.
L’interesse verso il progetto ha dato vita a una rete
di Remida che oggi si compone di 14 centri: 8 in
Italia e 6 nel mondo.
Remida, a research centre
on sustainability
Remida, conceived in 1996 in Reggio Emilia, is
a cultural project about sustainability, creativity
and research on industrial waste materials.
We promote the idea that what is discarded or
imperfect, can still be a bearer of beauty, elicit
reflections, and propose itself as an educational
resource, thus escaping the definitions of
“useless” and “trash”. Over 200 companies in the
area joined the project, donating material deemed
as disposable, which Remida recovers, displays
and offers for cultural and educational projects.
Remida is a project of the Institution of Infant-
Toddler Centers and Preschools of the Municipality
of Reggio Emilia and of Iren. Its management is
entrusted to the Foundation Reggio Children –
Loris Malaguzzi Center.
Remida is part of the Reggio Emilia Approach
system and it works specifically on the relationship
between mankind and the environment from an
anthropological, economic, socio-educational,
artistic and biological point of view, with the
culture of sustainability joyfully meeting creativity.
Our staff consists of 3 people, working side
by side with an atelierista and a pedagogista
of the Institution of Infant-Toddler Centers
and Preschools, and by a further group of 20
volunteers who support day-to-day activities.
The interest surrounding this project has promoted
a Remida network, which currently consists of 14
centers: 8 in Italy and 6 in the rest of the world.

2017: da vent’anni in
trasformazione
Il 2017 è stato l’anno in cui il progetto Remida ha
festeggiato 20 anni dalla sua nascita, avvenuta il 2
dicembre 1996 a Reggio Emilia.
Una ricorrenza importante che ha attraversato e
contaminato tutte le iniziative dell’anno, a partire
dalla conferenza stampa avvenuta proprio il 2
dicembre 2016, che ha visto la partecipazione e gli
interventi delle istituzioni e di un referente della
rete dei Remida. Per l’occasione è stato offerto un
rinfresco con brindisi alla presenza di un centinaio
di persone, tra amici e collaboratori, compresi
i volontari che nel tempo hanno sostenuto più
assiduamente Remida.
Sono stati celebrati 20 anni ma Remida è già al
lavoro per i prossimi 20: ecco perché “In_Cantiere”
è stato il tema dell’anno. Remida è infatti in
continua trasformazione, i lavori sono sempre in
corso, per continuare a interrogarsi sulla relazione
tra sostenibilità, creatività, innovazione e riuso.
Un invito a sentirci parte di un mondo in continuo,
meraviglioso, movimento.
In_Cantiere perché il futuro che attende il Centro
di Riciclaggio Creativo è nel quartiere di Santa
Croce, dove Remida si trasferirà. Un quartiere che

2017 marked the 20th anniversary of the Remida
project, which was founded in Reggio Emilia on
December 2nd, 1996.
This was an important celebration, which touched
and influenced all the initiatives during the year,
starting from the press conference which took
place on December 2nd, 2016, held by all the
institutions involved in the project, including a
spokesperson of the Remida network. This was the
occasion for a celebration with refreshments and a
toast, with a hundred people joining in, including
friends, collaborators and volunteers who
passionately supported Remida over two decades.
We celebrated 20 years of activity, but Remida is
already at work for the next 20 years: this is why
In_Cantiere (“at work”) became the main theme
of the year. Remida is always in transformation,
we are constantly at work to continue exploring
the relationship between sustainability, creativity,
innovation and reuse. This is sort of an invitation
to feel part of a world in continuous wonderful
movement.
The title In_Cantiere is also due to the
programmed move of the Creative Recycling

 rappresenta una sfida per tutta l’amministrazione
comunale essendo oggetto di un’importante
operazione di riqualificazione.
Remida, infatti, è stato coinvolto nel piano di
rigenerazione urbana che il Comune di Reggio
Emilia ha avviato nell’area nord della città.
L’amministrazione cittadina ha proposto a
Remida di attivare un processo innovativo di
trasformazione sociale, andando ad abitare l’ex
Mangimificio Caffarri, un’azienda dismessa del
quartiere: un’occasione per ripensare all’identità
del progetto, aprendo a nuove relazioni e
contaminazioni.
Proprio nel periodo del ventesimo compleanno
Remida ha quindi festeggiato in movimento verso
una nuova identità, verso un luogo che vuole
rivolgersi ancora di più a chi è in cerca di spazi
inusuali, inediti, di trafficamento ed esplorazione.
Dove nell’esercitare la creatività, come abilità
riconosciuta a tutti e a ogni età, si facciano strada
anche nuove elaborazioni della realtà, nuove
strategie di risposta alle domande complesse della
contemporaneità.

Center to the town district of Santa Croce, which
will be Remida’s new home. The Santa Croce
district represents a challenge for the entire town
administration, as it is undergoing an important
operation of regeneration.
Indeed Remida is involved in the urban
regeneration plan that the Municipality of Reggio
Emilia has started in the Northern area of the
town. The administration offered Remida the
opportunity to start an innovative process of
social transformation, moving into the premises
of the former Mangimificio Caffarri, an abandoned
feed manufacturer located in the area: this is an
opportunity to rethink the identity of the project,
opening up new relationships and influences.
This means that Remida celebrated its twentieth
birthday of being on the move by going towards a
new identity, a new space that aims at welcoming
even more those looking for unusual, unexpected
spaces for tinkering and exploration. A space
where we can train creativity, which is a skill
belonging to any and every age, allowing for new
elaborations on reality, as well as new strategies
for reacting the complex issues of our age.

Remida è un centro di ricerca sulle domande della
sostenibilità. Il cuore della ricerca di Remida è
la materia. La materia come prodotto (e scarto)
industriale, come manufatto, come volume,
superficie, colore, come soggetto da indagare,
come oggetto di relazione. La materia come
spazio, come ambiente. La materia come cultura,
ma anche la materia come natura.
È interesse della ricerca indagare l’intero ciclo di
vita della materia, dalla produzione al consumo
fino allo smaltimento, indagarne le possibilità
espressive e le sue infinite relazioni e mutazioni.
I progetti di Remida si concentrano sulla relazione
tra materia, uomo e natura, sulle nuove forme
di artigianato, produzione e autoproduzione fra
analogico e digitale, sul valore sociale dello scarto.
Nel 2017 Remida ha avviato uno studio sulla
materia tessile, nelle sue qualità estetiche e nel
suo impatto economico, culturale e ambientale, a
partire dagli scarti di lavorazione che provengono
dalle aziende di moda e confezionamento del
territorio reggiano.
PROGETTO “STOFFE SMODATE”
Il 2017 ha visto un interesse di Remida intorno alla
materia tessile e un primo contatto con “Atelier
Sottopunto” di Martina Rossi, con cui Remida
ha collaborato per approfondire la conoscenza
delle possibilità di questa materia. Due scuole

sustainability. The heart of Remida’s research
are materials. Materials are industrial products
(and waste), but also manufactured products,
with their volume, surface, color: a subject to be
investigated, an object of relationship. Materials
are space, environment, culture, nature.
Our research focuses on the entire life cycle
of materials, from production to consumption
to disposal, investigating their expressive
possibilities and their limitless relationships and
mutations.
The projects run by Remida focus on the
relationship between matter, mankind and nature,
on new forms of craftsmanship, formal and
independent production, in between analogic and
digital tools, and on the social value of waste.
In 2017, Remida launched a study on textile
materials, in their aesthetic qualities as well as
their financial, cultural and environmental effects,
starting from manufacturers’ by-products coming
from local fashion and packaging companies.

In 2017 Remida focused on textile materials
and started a collaboration with Martina Rossi’s

Filo conduttore di questo TEDx, che ha visto la
partecipazione di circa 400 persone, è stata la
bellezza come chiave di lettura per ripensare i
luoghi in cui viviamo, per renderli fruibili, sicuri,
vivaci. Remida ha curato insieme all’agenzia di
comunicazione Kalimera la direzione artistica
e si è occupato della progettazione del palco
e dell’ideazione dei badge per i partecipanti
all’evento.
Il programma del Remida Day prevedeva altre
iniziative: un aperitivo per i 20 anni di Remida,
all’interno del cortile dell’ex Mangimificio Caffarri,
e un Open Day del quartiere storico di Santa Croce
che per una giornata ha aperto gli spazi in uso e
quelli in disuso a visite guidate, mostre, spettacoli,
workshop e narrazioni.
Per l’occasione Remida ha abitato il Mangimificio con
una installazione, mentre al Centro Internazionale
Loris Malaguzzi era possibile iscriversi agli atelier,
scambiare libri Salvati da Remida o prenotarsi
per una passeggiata botanica accompagnati dal
professore Ugo Pellini, storico del verde.
Per via dei lavori di riqualificazione di piazzale
Europa, la Fiera dell’Usato Domestico, altro
tradizionale appuntamento di ogni Remida Day, nel
2017 non ha avuto luogo.

talks in Reggio Emilia, under the motto “Rethink
– Change Perspective To Promote Beauty” and
included a presentation of one lecture on the
project “Making School” of the Reggio Children
Foundation – Loris Malaguzzi Center and Enel
Cuore Onlus.
The common thread of the TEDx talks, which took
place in front of an audience of about 400 people,
was beauty, as a key to rethink the places we live
in, to make them accessible, safe, lively. Remida,
together with the communication agency Kalimera,
curated the artistic direction and took care of the
stage decoration, and designed the badges for the
participants to the event.
The 2017 Remida Day program included other
initiatives: a cocktail hour for the 20 years of Remida,
inside the courtyard of the former Mangimificio
Caffarri, and an Open Day in the historic Santa Croce
district, which opened the doors of spaces both in use
and abandoned to guided tours for one day, but also
exhibitions, shows, workshops and public readings.
For the occasion, Remida took over the
Mangimificio facility with an installation, while the
Loris Malaguzzi International Center offered ateliers,
“Saved by Remida” books could be bartered and
people could join a botanical walk led by professor
Ugo Pellini, historian of greenery. Unfortunately,
the Household Flea Market, a main tradition of the
Remida Day, didn’t take place in 2017 due to the

allestito negli spazi di Remida e gestito
interamente da volontari, nato per rimettere in
circolo, attraverso lo scambio, libri che non si
desiderano più, e per offrire uno sguardo diverso
sull’oggetto libro.
> Nel 2017 sono stati scambiati 5.557 libri.
> Salvato da Remida è stato presente in via
Roma il 12 marzo 2017, in occasione dell’iniziativa
“Fragili Guerriere”, il festival delle artiste.
> In maggio il progetto è stato presente alla festa
di fine anno della scuola dell’infanzia comunale
Girotondo.
> Dal maggio 2017 Salvato da Remida è una
presenza stabile al Parco del Carrozzone.
L’iniziativa rientra nell’ambito dell’Accordo di
Cittadinanza Pieve Modolena e Carrozzone.
> Salvato da Remida ha partecipato in 3
occasioni alle domeniche di apertura del Centro
Internazionale Loris Malaguzzi.
> Come ogni anno Salvato da Remida è stato
presente al Remida Day.
LA RETE DEI REMIDA
Sono tante le realtà culturali che condividono il valore
del progetto Remida, per questo motivo è nata la rete
dei Remida che oggi si compone di 14 centri.
Tutti i centri partecipano insieme a valorizzare
il riciclaggio creativo e la tutela dell’ambiente,
rilanciare una riflessione intorno alla didattica
intesa come luogo dell’agire e del riflettere,
progettare iniziative culturali, ambientali ed

SAVED BY REMIDA
Saved by Remida is a permanent project, set up
in the Remida facilities and managed entirely by
volunteers. It came to life as a way to put back into
circulation, through a “leave one, take one” barter
system, books that are no longer wanted, and to
open up to a different look on the book object.
> In 2017, 5,557 books were exchanged.
> On March 12th, 2017, Saved by Remida was at the
Via Roma event Fragili Guerriere (“Weak Warriors”), a
festival about female artists.
> In May, the project took part to the year-end party
of the Girotondo Municipal Preschool.
> Since May 2017, Saved by Remida is a stable
presence at the Parco del Carrozzone. The initiative
is part of the Pieve Modolena district and Carrozzone
Citizenship Agreement.
> Saved by Remida took part to the Open Doors on
Sunday initiative of the Loris Malaguzzi International
Center on 3 occasions.
> Saved by Remida is a regular presence at the
Remida Day Household Flea Market.
THE REMIDA NETWORK
There are many cultural institutions that share the
values underlying the Remida project; this gave way
to the creation of the Remida network, which now
consists of 14 centers.
All the centers work together to enhance creative
recycling and environment protection, to promote
a reflection about teaching as a place where to act

During 2017, Remida’s commitment within the
network gave way to the following initiatives:

training day in Reggio Emilia for a group of local
teachers (January 26th, 2017).
> A meeting with a representative of the Remida
center in Sodertalje, Sweden (September 20th, 2017).
> The Italian Remida network meeting (October
30th, 2017) at the Remida center in Varese.
> A professional training day in Reggio Emilia
dedicated to the centers of the Italian Remida
network (1 December 2017).

Nel corso dell’anno Remida ricerca e accoglie
sempre nuove possibilità di collaborazione
con diversi soggetti che possano contribuire a
rinnovare lo sguardo sulla sostenibilità e sulla
cultura della materia.
EX MANGIMIFICIO CAFFARRI
Durante l’anno si sono svolti diversi incontri con
STU (Società di Trasformazione Urbana) e gli
Assessorati alla Rigenerazione Urbana e alla Città
Internazionale del Comune di Reggio Emilia per
condividere progetto, tempi e modi del prossimo
trasferimento di Remida negli spazi dismessi
dell’ex Mangimificio Caffarri e del dialogo con le
realtà del quartiere cittadino di Santa Croce.
QUA - IL QUARTIERE BENE COMUNE
Remida è stato coinvolto nei laboratori
di cittadinanza previsti dal progetto
dell’Amministrazione Comunale “Qua - Il Quartiere
Bene Comune”, nei quali associazioni del territorio
e cittadini sono stati chiamati a formalizzare un
“Accordo di cittadinanza” per il miglioramento
della vita nei quartieri sui temi della cura della
città e della comunità. Esito di questo accordo è
stato l’inaugurazione del Salvato da Remida al
Parco del Carrozzone.
CITTÀ SENZA BARRIERE
Remida, insieme a Reggio Children, ha accolto la
richiesta di “Città Senza Barriere” e ha organizzato
l’atelier “La creatività del quotidiano”, rivolto a un
gruppo di educatori per disabili adulti.

Remida is constantly promoting and welcoming
new possible collaborations that might contribute
to renew our look on sustainability and culture on
materials.
FORMER MANGIMIFICIO CAFFARRI
Several meetings were held during the year with STU
(Urban Transformation Society) and the municipality
departments for Urban Regeneration and
International City of Reggio Emilia to agree on plans,
schedules and modes for the upcoming moving
of Remida into the abandoned halls of the former
Mangimificio Caffarri and to hold a dialogue going
with the realities of the Santa Croce district.
“QUA” - HERE, A DISTRICT BELONGING TO
EVERYONE
Remida has been involved in the town-hall meetings
organized by the Municipal Administration
project “Qua – Il Quartiere Bene Comune” (“Here
– a District Belonging To Everyone”), where local
associations and private citizens have been invited
to formally establish a “Citizens’ Agreement” for
the improvement of life in the neighborhoods. The
outcome of this agreement was the inauguration of
the Saved by Remida project at Parco del Carrozzone.
A TOWN WITHOUT OBSTACLES
Remida, together with Reggio Children, organized
the atelier “Creativity on a daily basis” as wished by
the institution “Città Senza Barriere”, for a group of
educators working with special-needs adults.
ALTRE PARTNERSHIP
> Incontro e visita conoscitiva a Remida di due
ricercatori della Lego Foundation.
> Visita e incontro conoscitivo con i referenti del
Centro Scienze di Torino organizzata in dialogo
con Iren.
> Nell’ottobre 2017 REMIDA ha ricevuto in

Il lavoro quotidiano che viene svolto a Remida non
è slegato dai progetti che prendono corpo dentro
e fuori dal centro. Tra la ricerca sulla materia e le
attività giornaliere di raccolta e distribuzione dei
materiali, di cura degli ambienti, di rapporti con le
aziende, con il pubblico, con i volontari, esiste una
relazione molto forte di complementarietà, per cui
l’una alimenta le altre, l’una rende le altre possibili.
IL RAPPORTO CON LE AZIENDE
Le presenze materiche a Remida rispecchiano
la realtà locale e confermano il rapporto stretto
che Remida ha con il proprio territorio. Al centro
è presente uno spaccato della produzione
industriale e artigianale della provincia che
stimola uno sguardo più curioso sull’intera filiera
di produzione. I materiali di Remida provengono
da oltre 200 aziende del territorio reggiano che
aderiscono al progetto devolvendo residui, eccessi
di produzione, materiale invenduto o fallato.
ORGANIZZAZIONE DEGLI SPAZI
Nel corso dell’anno gli spazi vengono contaminati
dalle attività svolte. L’ambiente è aperto a
esplorazioni e ricerche, per sedurre, provocare,
incuriosire.
Uno spazio dedicato alla bibliografia mette a
disposizione testi e documenti sulla sostenibilità,
l’educazione e l’arte legata a un uso intelligente
dei materiali.
> Nel febbraio 2017 REMIDA ha affrontato
il trasloco di una parte dei magazzini di via
Mazzacurati presso la ex scuola Claudel.
The work that takes place in Remida on a day-to-
day basis is constantly connected to the projects
that are conceived within the center, as well as
outside of it. There is a very strong relationship of
complementarity: the research on materials, the
daily activities of collecting and distributing items,
taking care of the environment, the relations
with companies, public and volunteers, all come
together so that each part makes the rest possible.
OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH BUSINESSES
The materials presented at Remida mirror the
local economy and confirm the close relationship
between Remida and the surrounding area. The
center hosts a cross-section of local industrial
and handicraft production, which stimulates a
more curious look on the entire production chain.
Remida’s materials come from over 200 companies
in the Reggio area that participate in the project,
devolving scrap by-product, rest production,
unsold or flawed materials.
ORGANIZATION OF SPACES
Over the course of the year our spaces are
influenced by the activities we carry out. The center
leads to exploration and research by seducing,
provoking, intriguing.
A space dedicated to the bibliography collects
texts and documents on sustainability, education
and arts in connection to using materials in a
smart way.
> In February 2017, part of the via Mazzacurati
warehouse was moved into the former Claudel
school.

Grazie alla collaborazione con Iren i materiali
arrivano a Remida due volte alla settimana,
secondo una programmazione mensile. Sono
materiali che Remida recupera e poi organizza
e offre gratuitamente a circa 400 strutture tra
scuole, associazioni ed enti sociali di Parma,
Piacenza e Reggio Emilia che li utilizzano per
attività culturali, didattiche, educative. Il servizio di
distribuzione, aperto al pubblico due mattine e due
pomeriggi a settimana, non è accessibile ai privati e
alle realtà commerciali.
La disposizione dei materiali non è casuale:
catalogati, allineati, accostati, a mucchi, suddivisi
ma anche mescolati, gli scarti escono dal processo
produttivo e dall’idea di rifiuto e diventano forme,
colori, superfici, volumi. Sono esposti in modo
volutamente propositivo, per costruire relazioni e
offrire spunti progettuali.
Remida dunque non è un magazzino di materiali.
Offre uno sguardo nuovo, e invita a vedere bellezza
dove non si è abituati a cercarla, ad andare oltre lo
stereotipo, l’ovvio e il banale.
> Dal 1996 a oggi sono transitate a Remida
circa 835 tonnellate di scarti, contribuendo
ad allungare la vita ai materiali destinati allo
smaltimento.
> Nel 2017 il servizio distribuzione materiali
è stato interrotto a settembre e nei mesi di
novembre e dicembre a causa di lavori in corso
sull’edificio che hanno provocato consistenti
infiltrazioni d’acqua nei locali di Remida.

DISTRIBUTION OF MATERIALS
Thanks to the collaboration with Iren, materials
arrive at the Remida center twice a week,
according to a monthly schedule. These materials
are recovered and organized by Remida, which
subsequently offers them for free to about 400
schools, associations and social institutions
located in Parma, Piacenza and Reggio Emilia,
which in turn use them for cultural, learning and
educational activities. This distribution service,
which opens its doors to the public on two
mornings and two afternoons every week, is not
available to private individuals and businesses.
Materials are not arranged at random: they
are cataloged, aligned, juxtaposed, piled-up,
separated or mixed. Discarded materials abandon
the production process and leave the idea of
being waste to turn into shapes, colors, surfaces,
volumes. Items are offered in a deliberately
inspiring way, to enhance relationships and offer
ideas for projects.
In other words, Remida is not a warehouse of
materials. It offers new ways of looking, and
invites people to see beauty where they are
not used to search for it, it invites to go beyond
stereotypes, obviousness and triviality.

Le attività di formazione che Remida offre durante
l’anno invitano a guardare la materia con altri
occhi per indagarne le potenzialità espressive e
raccogliere spunti per nuovi progetti.
I fruitori sono gruppi di studenti, insegnanti e
operatori del settore, bambini e ragazzi, dal nido
all’università, gruppi di studio italiani e stranieri,
colleghi di altri centri Remida, professionisti,
genitori.
Gli incontri prevedono un’introduzione al progetto e
un’attività di atelier-laboratorio, cui segue sempre un
momento di discussione finale.
Ognuno di questi incontri viene progettato perché
si attivino curiosità, interesse, gusto della ricerca
intorno ai temi della sostenibilità ambientale, sociale
ed economica. È dunque strategica la preparazione
dei contesti, la scelta dei materiali e degli strumenti
da proporre, come anche la documentazione delle
esperienze attraverso foto, video e appunti che, per
il personale di Remida, rappresentano materiale di
studio per nuove ricerche.
> Nel 2017 hanno partecipato ai workshop di
Remida 258 persone, 264 bambini/ragazzi hanno
preso parte ai percorsi sull’espressività dei materiali
e più di 1.300 persone proveniente da gruppi di
studio hanno visitato Remida (vedi pag. 45).

In questo seminario di una giornata, al quale
hanno partecipato 10 persone, a offrire uno
sguardo inedito sull’idea di rifiuto e di imperfetto

through new eyes, investigating their expressive
potential and gathering ideas for new projects.
The attendees are students, teachers and
professionals, children and youngsters, from
infant-toddler centers to universities, Italian
and foreign study groups, colleagues from other
Remida centers, professionals, parents.
These sessions include an introduction to the
project, a workshop in the atelier, always followed
by a moment of final discussion.
Each meeting is designed to trigger curiosity,
interest, a taste for research around
environmental, social and economic sustainability.
The preparation of contexts and set ups
plays therefore a strategic role: the choice of
materials and tools to be offered, as well as the
documentation of past experiences through
photos, videos and notes which in turn will
be study material for new researches from the
standpoint of the Remida staff.
> In 2017, 258 people took part to Remida’s
workshops, 264 children and young people took
part to researches around the expressive potential
of materials, and more than 1,300 attendees of
study groups visited Remida (see page 45).

In this one-day seminar, which was attended by
10 people, a new look at the idea of waste and

CORSO DI FORMAZIONE | MARZO 2017
Da ormai diversi anni Remida propone un
corso di formazione per insegnanti inserito nel
programma delle proposte gratuite di Iren. Nel
2017 è stato proposto “Coltivare l’incolto”, un
corso in cui Remida ha chiesto di interpretare con
i materiali di scarto la natura vagabonda delle
piante spontanee. Al corso di una intera giornata,
svoltosi in aprile, hanno partecipato 20 insegnanti
di scuole di ogni ordine e grado delle province di
Parma, Piacenza e Reggio Emilia.
BAMBINI AL CENTRO
ATELIER | SETTEMBRE, GENNAIO E NOVEMBRE
Nell’ambito delle domeniche di apertura del
Centro Internazionale Loris Malaguzzi, Remida ha
partecipato con tre atelier per famiglie: “Stoffe
Smodate” (a settembre) per ridare vita attraverso
la stop-motion a tessuti che la moda ha scartato,
e “Taglia e Cuci-na” (gennaio e novembre, in
collaborazione con Pause srl) in cui è stata preparata
una merenda a scarto zero e realizzata una sacca
porta-oggetti per l’attesa dei bambini al ristorante.

TRAINING COURSE | MARCH 2017
For several years Remida has been offering
teachers’ training courses as part of Iren free-of-
charge programs. In 2017 the “Coltivare l’incolto”
seminar was offered, in which Remida asked to
interpret the wanderer nature of spontaneous
plants by using discarded materials. The seminar
took place in April, for a whole day, and was
attended by 20 teachers from schools of all levels
coming from the provinces of Parma, Piacenza and
Reggio Emilia.

Milano presso la scuola di via Bezzecca, nell’ambito
del progetto “Fare Scuola”, a cui hanno partecipato
circa 35 insegnanti da tutta Italia.

Minitree di Milano rivolto a circa 30 genitori,
nell’ambito dell’iniziativa “Cibo a regola d’arte”

Over the course of 6 sessions, Remida hosted 6
first -year classes from the middle school of the
Comprehensive Institute of Sorbolo (Parma) for
a training course on the expressive possibilities
of paper. The event was promoted by science,
mathematics and arts teachers.
FURTHER TRAINING DAYS
In 2017 Remida offered several opportunities for
outsiders:
> January 13th: Remida was invited to
Barcelona (Spain) for a training day with about
40 educators and teachers, promoted by DIIP
Spain in collaboration with BAU Design College in
