REBID OF EVENT 9625 FOR PIPE AND DRAPE

I. SCOPE: It is the intent of these specifications to describe the pipe and drape as used
in trade shows for the creation of exhibit booth space approximately, (10) feet wide
and eight (8) feet deep. This specification will outline the size pipe and drape
necessary to construct booths and size bases and carts needed to support such booth
set up. All materials shall be new and unused and be made of first-class workmanship
with flameproof material.

II. DESCRIPTION OF PIPE AND DRAPE EQUIPMENT:

A. LARGE SCREW IN BASE: Large bases shall be not less than 15 inches by 15 inches of
steel base. (Please note: Details have been changed from Event 9625)

B. SMALL SCREW IN BASES: Small bases shall be not less than 11 inches by 11 inches
of steel base. (Please note: Details have been changed from Event 9625)

C. TALL UPRIGHTS POST: Uprights shall be eight feet in height and by one and one-half
inch in circumference (8ft.x 1.5 in.) with slots at three (3) foot and eight (8) foot, and
made with high quality aluminum with extra heavy-duty .050 wall thickness. Each
aluminum tube shall be finished with a clear anodized process that protects drapes from
damage. Uprights must have threaded ends to screw into the bases. Uprights shall
include a castle top.

D. SHORT UPRIGHT POSTS: Uprights shall be three feet in height and by one and one-
half inch in circumference (3ft.x 1.5 in.) and made with high quality aluminum with extra
heavy-duty .050 wall thickness. Each aluminum tube shall be finished with a clear
anodized process that protects drapes from damage. Uprights must have threaded ends to
screw into the bases. Uprights shall include a chrome top.

 E. TELESCOPING DRAPE SUPPORTS (TELESCOPIC) WITH BUTTON STOPS:
Telescopic supports shall be made of high quality anodized aluminum with steel
hooks cast in aluminum on each end to attach the support to the uprights. Telescoping
drape supports shall telescope from six (6) feet to ten (10) feet with button locks at six
(6), eight (8), and ten (10) foot increments.

F. DRAPERY PANELS HIGH: Drapery shall be 94” high by four (4) feet wide
INHERENTLY FLAMEPROOF banjo cloth, BLACK in color, and have a four (4) inch
hem top and bottom as standard. Documentation of flame treatment and NFPA small
testing shall be provided with the materials when shipped.

G. DRAPERY PANELS LOW: Drapery shall be three 34’ H high by twelve (12) feet wide
INHERENTLY FLAMEPROOF banjo cloth, black in color, and have a five (5) inch hem
top and bottom as standard. Documentation of flame treatment and NFPA small testing
shall be provided with the materials when shipped.

H. DRAPERY CARTS: Three (3) Drape telescoping carts shall be provided allow you to
pre-string drapes carts and should hold pre-draped telescopes with either 3 foot or 8 foot
supports. Carts shall be made of heavy duty welded steel frames with a black
Hammertone powder coat finish. Carts shall be include composite casters rated at 900

One (1) Custom Base cart – 3 Feet Combo Cart that holds 100 uprights & 100 bases.
 I. ETCHING - Uprights and bases shall have laser name etching inclusive of any
laser set-up requirements to complete.

III. QUALIFICATIONS OF VENDOR:

In an attachment, provide your qualifications.
1. Number of years in business
2. Volume of pipe and drape sold annually.
3. References in United States.

N. DELIVERY:
