Student Guidelines for Admissions PhD Students

A very simple procedure has been laid down for applying to any program in Asia e University. Following is a step
by step guide to the Application Process:
Step 1: Choose the program you wish to apply and see if you meet the eligibility criteria.
Step 2: Collect all the documents required for your admission (mentioned in the document checklist) and get
them attested from an Oath Commissioner. For a Research Degree e.g. a PhD or a Masters by Research Program
you would require to submit all the necessary documents along with a “RESEARCH INTENT PROPOSAL”.

Step 3: Once you have collected all the documents, fill the “Application Form” provided to you. Recheck your
documents according to the “Document Checklist” before submitting your case.
Step 4: Submit your application and documents along with processing fee for your application to be processed in the
OM International Account i.e. HABIB BANK LIMITED, F-10 MARKAZ BRANCH,
ISLAMABAD A/C NO. PK55HABB0022697930559355 TITLED: "OM INTERNATIONAL (PVT)
LTD."
Step 5: Once the final approval from Malaysia has been received, you will be provided with another LOCAL
INVOICE to submit the fee in OM International Account (mentioned in Step 4). In case you have opted for an
installment plan you will have to submit post dated cheques covering all the fee expense in the coming year. The
cheques once again will be in name of OM International Pvt Ltd.
Step 6: After you have deposited your fees, the confirmation will be received from the University from Malaysia
and you will be provided with a Password and Login for myPLS (my personalized learning space) which is
our award winning ONLINE portal through which all your academic activity will take place for as long as your
study program continues.

NOTE: Our PhD program is 3 years in duration which is completely “Research Based” and there is no
coursework involved. For PhD/Masters of Research Students in the first year your will be required to complete the
work on your Proposal. A proposal defense will be conducted at the end of the first year. After which another two
years will be provided for compiling your findings and submitting your final thesis document. The final thesis
defense will take place after that.
