Setting : Home

Mother and son at home. Son watching television while snacking. Watches advertisement ( McD)
asks mom to buy Happy Meal.

Mother : Son you want any snackes to eat?

Son : Mom please bring some potato chips for me, I’m watching power rangers.

Mother : Ashvin please help yourself to get your potato chips, I already prepare it in a bowl.

Son : Mommm…I’m watching important scene, red ranger is helping other rangers to get back in

their battle……Please bring it for me. Pleaseeee…..

Mother : Such a lazy boy you’re Ashvin. Nah, hold your bowl carefully and don’t disturb me. I’m

cooking at kitchen.

Son is eating potates chips while watching power rangers….

Son : Yooorayyyy, mommmm…….mommmm………(son shouts at mother) Several times

Mother : Yes Ashvin, why are you shouting, I can hear you. What the problem?

Son : Motherrrr….Red Ranger won the battle….

Mother : Haih….

Few mintues later, while watching television. Advertisment going on.

Son : Waaaa this McD so delicious, I must try it now. Power ranger combo with happy meal. I wanna

try it nowww. Let’s ask mom to buy it.

Son : Mommmmm……come here nowww. It’s very urgent….

Mother : What’s up son?

Son : Mom I want this McD Happy meal now, pls order for me nowwwww. I want it nowwww. I want

eat now plssss.

Mother : Alright, Alright I will order now. Such a lucky kid, Haih.
Scene 2 :

Setting : Shopping mall

Mother and son go grocery shopping. Son demands for junk food, mom refuses so, he cried and
shows tantrum at the mall. Mom was too embarrassed and gave in to him and bought.

Mother : Ashvin dress up, we are going for a grocery shopping. Hurry up.

Son : No I don’t want to follow. I’m sleepy. I wanna sleep. You go alone. Don’t disturb me please.

Mother : Ashvin faster get ready. Don’t make me tension. Im in hurry. Faster put on your clothes

Son : Haihhh, mommmm…..

Mother : Faster Ashvin. I’m leaving now.

Son : Wait couples of seconds, Im ready. Let’s go.

Mother drives to a shopping mall.

Mother : Son help me to choose good onions.

Son : Motherr…Why me? You do yourself I don’t know to choose these thing. And I don’t like onions.

Yuckkkk….it taste so yuckkkkk. Please don’t ask me to do this thing.

Mother : Why are you so lazy to do things ha? Please be active Ashvin. Onion is good health. Don’t

eat junk foods too much. After this I’m not going to buy any snackes or fast foods to you. I

am going to cook healthy food to you.

Son : Mother don’t be so cruel, be nice to me please. After this I will help you to do thing. Believe

me. Hehehehe…..

Mother : Lets see, what you going to do.

Son : You will see maaa.

Mother and son walking out to cashier to pay out the things, suddenly son saw delicious
chocolates.

Son : Maaaa, I want these choclates… It looks so delicious… Wait I want to grab some chocolates.

Mother : Ashvin, No. No candies for you. You eating a lot of junk foods. Let’s go.

Son : Nooooo, I want themmmmm….(starts to cry)

Mother : You are so stubborn.

Mother feels embarrassed and bought it for him.
