1. Motivation
What instances in your life that you (The time when I didn’t pay attention on
regretted about your decision? reviewing and got lowest score during exam.)
2. Unlocking difficulties
Today, we shall read a short story about (Students will pick mangoes,decode the meaning
a woman who has a relationship with a of the unfamiliar words and use it in their own
stranger but before that you might sentence.)

5. Analysis
(Sabina)
A. Who is the main character in the
story? (Mr. George)
B. Who was the person coming that (Because the man she loved is a married man.)
night? (When Sabina feel in love with a stranger.)
C. Why did Sabina commit suicide?
D. What is the main conflict in the (brown girl, little, kind, innocent)
story?
E. How can you describe Sabina? (kind, cheerful, good-looking, white man, around
30 years)
F. How can you describe Mr. George?
(If she didn’t commit suicide, I want her to forgive
G. If Sabina did not commit suicide, herself by not listening to her family and try to fix
what would you want her to do? her life now.)
Possible answers:

[Key concepts:
Conditionals describe the result of something
that might happen (in the present or future) or
might have happen but didn’t (in the past).
They are sometimes called “If clauses”. They
are made using different English verb tenses.
There are three kinds of conditionals:
The first conditional
(If + present simple,… will + infinitive)
7. Application
(Divides the group into four.)
Look for a song in your phone that has
conditionals and sing it in the class.
IV. EVALUATION:
A. Identify whether the conditionals is First, Second or Third.
1. If it rains, I won’t go to the park.
2. She’ll be late if the train is delayed.
3. If I met the Queen of England, I would say hello.
4. If I hadn’t eaten so much, I wouldn’t have felt sick.
5. If I had his number, I would call him.
6. If I study today, I’ll go to the party tonight.
7. She would travel all over the world if she were rich.
8. He would have been on time for the interview if he had left the house at nine.
9. If I see her, I’ll tell her.
10. If I were you, I wouldn’t go out with that man.
B. Valuing
If you were to choose a course to study, what will you choose? The course that your parents want for
you? Or the course you want most?
How are you going to convince your parents in order to support your decision if you choose what you
desire?
V. ASSIGNMENT:
With the same group in our reading activity earlier, compose a dialogue that emphasizes the use of
conditionals. Write it in a one-whole sheet of paper.
