4. Please choose courses very carefully! Courses are designed and teachers allotted according to initial
student choice sheet selections so courses may fill up and changes may not be available. A verification of
the courses students selected will be sent home for review for errors. This verification page is not the
finalized schedule and does not guarantee placement in the courses listed. Course selection changes must
be requested by March 27th. Due to scheduling limitations and teacher allocation, students may not get
their top elective choices. Priority goes to 8th then 7th grade students. Any differences in the final schedule
(handed out the first day of school), that are due to scheduling limitations, do not constitute a scheduling
error and will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Late course changes may be requested in writing/email
within the 1st week of school. A request must be approved by the principal, is subject to class availability,
and does not guarantee a change.

students.

year credit for high school Spanish 1.

are expected to be proficient in keyboarding prior to 9th grade. Priority goes to 8th graders.
14. Students who are not passing Keyboarding, Spanish, or Health at any time after the 1st 6 weeks, will be
moved to “middle school level” for Keyboarding, Exploratory Languages for Spanish, or a different elective
