Introduction

Computer can be define as an electronic machine that processing, storage and resolve to

output.

Computer is a dynamic developmental machine which brought about different kinds of

technological devices.

(i) SENSING TECHNOLOGY:- Many scholars have different views about definition

of sensor technology which concert all under technological know how or

scientific method of technology.

The terms ‘sensor’ and Transducer according to American National Standard

Institute (ANSI) defined sensor and Transducer as a ‘ Device which provide the

useful output in response to a scientific or specific devices. It also defined as

an instrument of the society more especially in American during 1975 which

quantify electrical devices. Today Sensor is allover with different technological

devices for instant in the electrical method you would see the useful of sensor

even in the passage of many Banks in Nigeria. Phones are easily to access

sensor in every where, Some Sensor may incorporate element of one Sensor

to another which defined as Compound Sensor. While others are of the views
 to give the definition of Sensor as related with energy which interact from one

to another for example electrical devices or optical.

(ii) KEY BOARD ;- This is an input device which provided for typing information

through computer it has evolved over the years, people are use to Microsoft

for different style. Key Board is the important device to write what ever into

the computer is an input and part or accessories of computer. It is of

different types

(iii) Mouse :- This is another Input device in which the indicate the location on the

Monitoring screen system. It use to select or to pointing what exactly place

indicated on the computer. It use it to highlight whatever you want correct ,

to delete or to save. For example with Mouse it will show you computer player

or play music .

(iv) STORAGE :- It is a device which consuming or storing digital Data that already

input into computer or processing the Data to saved. It also a way to enables

the computer to retain Data either Temporarily or Permanently. The Storage is

also called electronic data storage, there are two types of storage Volatile

storage and Non – Volatile Storage.

The Volatile storage is an act of computer primary electrical storage it uses

for temporary storing, this referred as primary storage.

 The Non- Volatile Storage is an act to storing Random Access Memory (RAM)

. it storage hard disc and storing component and also referred as Secondary

storage.

(v) PROCESSING :- This is another term of computer activity, the processing is at

the middle between receiving or inward of data to output or out ward of data.

Through processing every controlling of computer became realized. The

Processing act is a way to look the efficiency of the computer. Processing

began since from ON the computer to the OFF of computer this is because

even you on your computer you will give some time before to start using this

time is called butting or processing time. Like wise during the off computer.

(vi) COMMUNICATIONS :- Computer Communications can be describes as a

process in which two or more computers transferring data of information .

Some communication involve cables and wires, others are sent wirelessly

through the air. As illustrated in this figure, communication systems contain all

types of computers and computing devices. For successful communications

you need the following terminologies;

A sending device that initiates an instruction to transmit data instruction or

information

A communication device that connect the sending device to a communication

channel
A communication Channel or transmission media on which the Data

instruction or information travel.

A communication device that connect the communications channel to a

receiving device.

A Receiving device that accepts the transmission of data instruction or

information.

All types of computers mobile devices serve as sending and receiving devices

in a communication system.

The use of computer communication are every where . Many require that

users subscribes to an internet access provider. With other computer

communication services to employees, students or customers.

There are many ways of computer communication through so many devices

for example;-

Messaging communication which consist many directions. Like Text Messaging

for (SMS).

Mobile to Mobile Communication which comprised many devices like xender,

Twitter, Email etc.
