This pattern can be obtained by a repetition of reverse folds.
Instead of mirroring the reverse folds they are repeated in line so that the main crease describes a zigzag line. Therefore the folded pattern has a characteristic zigzag corrugation in two directions. This allows extending and retracting the pattern in both directions. Step 1: Prepare any kind of paper of your choice. Step 2: Cut it in a rectangular form. You may cut a 1 whole paper lengthwise Step 3: Fold the paper in half crosswise. Make sure it’s equal in length. Step 4: Fold its side alternately and be able to make 8 sections. Step 5: starting from the top to the bottom of the folded paper, make small folds in an alternate manner. Be sure to form a zigzag pattern. Step 6: Extract the folder paper in both direction. Step 7: Display your origami.
