The Importance of Consuming Water for Health

Water? Water has an important role for the order of life, especially humans. For
example consuming water every day, how many glasses do you drink water a day? Water is
an indispensable necessity; no human being can survive without water. Where we know
about 50% of the human body consists of water. Therefore the importance of consuming
enough water to maintain stability and health. Broadly speaking there are 3 benefits of
consuming water for health. First is good for kidney health if consumed according to needs,
second is good for skin health, and third is good for digestion.
First I want to talk about the reasons why it is important to consume water for
kidney health, every day the body needs about 8 to 9 glasses of water, according to the
recommendation of the food and nutrition agency of the United States research council. Do
you know? Turns out, good nutrition is the basis of kidney health, especially water intake and
some dissolved minerals, such as sodium, phosphorus, and potassium. Water has an
important role in the process of the human urinary system, which is a medium of
transportation of substances that are not needed by the body and dispose of them in the form
of urine. Consuming enough water means you are helping to save your kidneys from the risk
of kidney disease.
Next, the second reason for the importance of consuming water turns out to be in
addition to maintaining a healthy body. Water has many benefits for skin health. Such as
moisturizing the skin and launching nutrients to skin cells, preventing aging where water is
able to repair skin tissue and increase skin elasticity and the skin feels supple and wrinkles do
not easily appear. So it's not just treatment from skincare products, you also need to drink
water.
Finally, the third reason is that water is very good for digestion which contains
sulphate which can produce enzymes for digestion; water is also effective to relieve problems
such as bloating and constipation. Dissolve and help the process of digestion of food. It is
also able to reduce toxins that can attack the intestine, so that the acidity problem in the body
will disappear and your digestion will also be smoother.
In conclusion, consuming water is very important for the health of our bodies, such
