 Installation Instructions for the VeloCloud Edge 510-LTE
Follow the steps below to install the VeloCloud Edge 510-LTE in a basic configuration.
For advanced configurations, refer to the Edge Activation Guide online at:

Step 1. Connect the Antennas Step 2. Insert SIM Card(s)

Connect the two identical antennas (included in the
box) to the MAIN and AUX SMA connectors on the
back of the Edge. The GPS antenna (not included)
is optional.
Remove the small screw on the door. For a single SIM,
insert the card (contacts facing up) in the BOTTOM SIM
slot until it clicks into place. For dual SIMs, insert the
second card into the top slot with the contacts facing
down.

Step 3. Connect the Power Step 4. Connect to the Internet

Connect the power adapter to the AC power outlet,
and connect the other end of the adapter to the DC
power port on the Edge. When the Edge powers ON,
the round indicator light located on the front of the
Edge will illuminate.
Connect the Edge to an available Internet connection.
For LTE, refer to the “get-started” link above. For wired
connections, insert the Ethernet cable in either the GE3
or GE4 ports. The indicator light on the front of the
Edge will turn green when the WAN is operational.

Step 5. Follow Email Instructions Step 6. Connect Local Devices

If you received an email from your IT administrator, Connect local devices such as desktops, phones, and
follow the instructions in the email to complete the switches to either of the ports labeled GE1 or GE2,
Edge activation. or through the Edge’s Wi-Fi.

After following these instructions, if you are still unable to activate the VeloCloud Edge 510-LTE,
