I have researched different styles of stop motion
animation that I could use in my own animation. I
experimented with three different types and made
mini animations of each one that was five seconds
long
I considered using models , paper, and people. I
found that paper was very effective as I could use
drawing to create a growing image. However , if the
image needs alterations like facial emotions that
drawing would nit be very effective because the
image would have to be changed instead of
growing.
They helped show me which sort of movement goes
with each material so I can chose the flow of my
animation dependent on the material. I found that
models made the animation to comical which did not
really fit the type of production I wanted to make.
I learnt that drawing would create a very effective
animation and provide the sort of movement and
flow I would like. I also learnt that a higher frame rate
creates a smooth movement.

the idea of using drawing and found that my idea
would maybe not be the most effective.
Drawing people was too hard so hard to switch to
words and simpler drawings. I changed the idea to
the environmental impacts because the filming was
more effective but I also wanted to vary the idea to
my next production which will be on body image.
I planned each scene by choosing how many
seconds I wanted them and then multiplied that by
24.
I am quite happy with it but wish I planned slightly
more so that I could have incorporated other items. I
believe it slightly lacks creativity. I have had some
issues with the editing ad cannot seem to frame it
right.
The whole animation was created outside of class.
