1) My greatest challenge was using my time wisely when we ran into problems

such as technology issues. We had to learn how to keep progressing when it appeared
a problem was stopping us. One example of a technology error is when our podcast
got deleted right before we turned it in. Alex’s computer had a glitch which caused
Alex’s computer to shut down without warning causing the podcast to be deleted. We
persevered and recreated our podcast with minutes to spare turning it in on time.
Even before this, we were battling computer errors from the start. The mic we were
using would not connect to the software, and the software wouldn’t record. We were
battling these and other similar issues from the start and it greatly slowed our
process down.
2) If I went about this project again differently I would have started earlier
recording earlier. This would have made it easier to deal with the technology
errors. We spent a lot of time refining our script which took away time we could
have used for recording and fixing glitches. One example is when I was spending
time browsing reddit when I could have been working on writing my script. This
caused the script writing process to take longer than it needed to.
3) The biggest insight I gained was that future of labor will always be uncertain
and will never stop changing. Ever since the industrial revolution our jobs have
been at risk from automation. Technology will always be advancing beyond human
capabilities and we will always need to be preparing for this buy educating future
workers for the changing job market. I learned that although there are many
negatives to this future of automation there may be some positives. This includes
cheaper consumer goods and safer working conditions.
4) I the thing I am most proud of on this project is our physical podcast. We
worked really hard on our script and setting up our podcast to get the best quality
possible. We had alot of technology issues and errors that were very hard to get
past. Despite this we tried to persevere through all these issues and made our
podcast the best we could. Our podcast even got deleted the day we turned it in.
despite this we recreated it and persevered.
5) I grew most in this project when we had our technology errors. I had to learn
how to cope with technology not working and things not going as planned. This
helped me learn how to keep pushing forward when stressed. I also learned a lot
about time management during this project. I learned how to budget my time with
specific tasks and prioritize what I need to do. I also learned that spending time
off task everyday slows down the project process.
