Nanotechnology: How useful in Today and Tomorrow for

Bio-organic & Nano technology in Agriculture Farming.

Agriculture is the way of living for the Indians,

but the crop productivity of the country is not
more than three-fourths of the world average.
The negative consequences of first green
revolution or shattered revolution like soil, crops and environmental pollution
requires urgent thinking about true green revolution. Presently Bio & nanotechnology
is buzz word across the globe and we cannot imagine our big country without small
nano, especially nano-agriculture. Bio and Nanotechnology may help to improve
agricultural productivity through genetic improvement, site specific gene and drug
delivery etc. This also helps to develop suitable techniques and sensors for
precision agriculture, natural resource management, early detection of pathogens,
and smart delivery systems for agro biofertilizers. In long run nanotechnology can be
expected to become the main economic driving forces in agriculture sector.
Consumers, producers, farmers, ecosystems, and the general society will be
benefited from this technology and we go forward with the vision.
