Polymorphism – HTML – CSS – Java script – PHP cookies – sessions.

Module 2:
Data Structures: Analysis of algorithms – Stack – Queue – Linked Lists – Sorting – Searching –
Trees- Graphs. TOC/PLT: Automata – Regular Expressions – CFG – Turing Machines –
Lexical analysis – Syntax Analysis – Semantic Analysis – Code Generation – Code Optimization.

Module 3:
Computer Architecture and Digital Logic: Instruction formats and types – Addressing modes –
Data representation – Memory Hierarchy – Virtual memory – I/O Techniques – DMA – RAID
– Simplification of functions – Sequential and Combinational logic circuits. Microprocessor and
Interfacing: 8086 Instructions – Addressing Modes – Peripherals and interfacing: 8251, 8253,
8255, 8257, 8259.

Module 4:
Database Design: DB Schema – ER diagram – DFD – Normalization – SQL – Indexing –
Transactions and related issues. Operating System: Processes – IPC – Scheduling – Concurrency
and Synchronization – Deadlocks – Memory management – File systems.

Module 5:
Computer Networks: Switching – Layers and Protocols – LAN – WAN – Routing – Congestion
– Data Security and Integrity. Image Processing and Graphics: Digital Image fundamentals –
Transformation – Enhancement – Restoration – Compression – 2D and 3D representation and
Manipulation – Modelling and Rendering. Software Engineering: Process models – Scheduling –
Testing - OO Approaches.
