Insights that you have learned on the first day

Other people say nothing beats experience, as what my teacher said back when we are in our 4th
Grade, as the perfect learning tool. For me, it will give me a taste of the real world, a glimpse of
what lies ahead after we graduate.

One of the most important things I’ve learned is that talent is not enough. I believe, it is
important, but there is no assurance to success. An individual must also be hardworking and
must have self-discipline. Sacrifice is important, too.

I learned to sacrifice a lot of things. I also learned that, it’s best to do and show your best. I also
learned to interact and communicate with lots of different personalities of people. Knowing how
to handle person’s decision; also, learn how to listen and observe. Be friendly; meet people,
smile, and listen. Next is, Be you. Think of ways to be relaxed and project yourself as who you
are.

I also learned how to be independent. This also means having to deal with different people more
often. All we can do as a student in school is to be inspired, love the path that you take, and do
your best in everything that you do, with a positive outlook in life.

Difficulties you have encountered and how did you respond

I always welcome challenges; they are a part of any job. Facing them head-on is the best way to
overcome them and avoid costly mistakes.

Continuous Improvement, because No matter how good the school clinic gets, it can do better.
There’s always some type of improvement that can be made: a change in a process, a better
working environment, better motivation, more focus on the essentials. If you ever get to the point
where you honestly have no idea how to improve things further, then you should either seek
outside advice, or try to search for the things that motivate you. There’s always a better way, and
you have to keep looking for it.

And for me, Communication is the most dangerous and challenging part in the school clinic,
because you will face a lot of different people every now and then, especially if you don’t know
them, and even in a small detail of what might comes to your mouth, will hurt them. So, just be
very careful and watch every word that you will say. By having frequent direct contact with my
people that go to clinic, listening to what they say, and having honest two-way communication
with them, we will become more likely to be the person they deserve respect and trust.

I believe in all aspects of work, it requires skill and motivation. But most of all it requires
commitment. And you must always do your best. Stay positive, and always smile, always have
that positive aura in your look.
