Australia  is  beautiful,  it’s  huge  and  it’s  brilliant.  From  the  cool  laneways  in  Melbourne,  to  the 

stunning  scenic  beauty  in  Sydney,  to  the  glamourous  landscapes  along  the  Gold  Coast,  the 

‘Travbond  Bangalore’  team  had  an  incredible  experience  and  loved  every  bit  of  it.  Australia  is 

mostly  known  for  its  pristine  beaches,  famous  wildlife  and  iconic  landmarks,  however  they 

managed to get a glimpse of the not-so-famous spots as well.  

We’re  glad  that  there  were  no  instances  when  the  patrons  felt  any  sort  of  complaints and were 

more  than  cooperative  to  make  it  a  memorable  trip  for  all  of  us.  The  travellers  from  Bangalore 

called this trip ‘The ultimate bucket list for Australia’, and we couldn’t be happier hosting them. 
  

The  trip  started  in  the  world-class  city  of  Melbourne;  filled with jaw-dropping graffiti, good food, 

great  coffee  and  an  explosion  of  colours,  wherever  you  look. The ​travbond Bangalore team had 

one  of  the  most  atmospheric  local  shopping  experiences  at Queen Victoria market, followed by 

a  150-mile-long  drive  to  the  Great  Ocean  road.  Luckily  for  us,  not  even  one  of  them  had  a 

complaint about the long hours of driving, because it was so scenic and pristine.  

Our  culture  vultures had a gala time exploring the galleries, theatres, museums and the beautiful 

parks  along  the  Yarra  River.  The  enthusiasts  from  Bangalore  escaped  into  the  mesmerising 

Dandenong  ranges  and  the  Mornington  Peninsula  to  spend  some  time  away  from  the  city  and 

the chaos. 
  

The  next  stop  for  our  Travbond  Bangalore  group  was  the  iconic  city  of  Sydney.  When  it  comes 

to  Sydney,  most  of  the  people  just  think  about  the  opera  house,  but  there  is  so  much  more  to 

Sydney  than  the conventional places. The Sydney harbour bridge is quite an architectural marvel 

and  the  group  had  a  great  time  enjoying  the  spectacular  views  of  the  city  and  the  harbour.

exploring the unexplored parts of a new city.  

The  next  day  was  filled  with  adventure  and  nature,  as  the  Bangalore  gang  took  off  for  the  Blue 

Mountains  National  Park.  This  stunning  park  encompasses  waterfalls,  dramatic  gorges, 

aboriginal  rock  paintings  and  hiking  trails.  Our  tour  highlights  for  that  day  were  the  world’s 

steepest railway station, with elevated beautiful views. 

How  can  anyone  visit  Sydney  and  miss  out  on  the insanely famous Bondi Beach full of bronzed 

bodies,  backpackers  and  surfers. The men from the Bangalore batch had a fantastic time by the 

beach  and  the  women relaxed while sipping some margaritas. Like we truly believe, there will be 

no  complaints  when  everyone  is  happy  at  the  beach!  As  the  tour  progressed,  the  Bangalore 

buddies  drove  down  to  the  next  destination;  Gold  coast  that  never  fails  to  bring  a  smile  on 

anyone’s face ,irrespective of the age.
