Laptop Policy

1.0 Purpose

Laptop computers provide important functionality, allowing employees to have their computing
resource at hand in meetings/workplace, and those who travel on business to be maximally
functional and productive while away.

3.0 Procedures

3.1 Requesting for a Laptop

Every employee who wishes to use the Laptop should forward their request to Head Office, HR
Dept.

Purchase price

Company will provide a brand new laptop, of Purchase price of

Rs.25,000/- Rupees Twenty Five Thousands Only), to the Executant. It
is further clarified that 50% of the purchase price of the said laptop
shall be borne by the Executant.

1. If the Executant remains in employment of the said Company for

a continuous period of 3 (three) years and for said three years,
Executant, without fail, pays a monthly amount of Rs. 347. to
the Company vide a monthly installment of Rs. 347, which shall
be 50% of the purchase price of the said laptop for which the
Executant hereby instructs/ requests the said Company to
deduct the same from its Salary.

2. The Executant assures that he will not dispose of the laptop

without prior sanction form the company.

3. That, however, the Executant hereby, undertakes, that if before

the expiry of above said period of 36 Months she/ he is removed
from the employment/ services of the Company for any reason
whatsoever or voluntarily resigns, than he/ she shall be bound to
pay the balance amount towards the Purchase price of said
laptop immediately, which shall also include 50% of the
purchase price paid by the Company, failing which the Company
shall be at liberty to seek legal remedy against the Executant at
his/ her cost, risk and expenses. The Laptop will not be taken
 back by the said company and company will not the responsible
for its maintenance.

Laptop repair and maintenance

4. The Executant further assures the Company to use the Laptop

with due care & diligence and to carry out the day to day repair and
maintenance (except manufacturing defects) at his/ her own cost.

5. Incase the Executant misplaces or damages the Laptop beyond

repair he/she undertakes to replace it immediately at own cost.

3.3 Laptops in Corporate Office

Laptops must be secured in a locked drawer when not in use, i.e. when you are not taking your
laptop home or will be out of the office for a while.

3.9 Eligibility

 Department Heads / Project Heads / Senior Management

 Front ending; sales team for certain grades
 Employees going on Client Assignments
