Produce a factual programme, animation, short film
on my choice of topic. Mental health
Making it on mental health because it’s subject that
hasn’t had much attention to the British youth.
Through my productions I’d like to shed a light on the

Week 3
I researched topics in the world of mental health so I
could gather some questions for my interviewee.
Questions about the impact of a school/college
environment can have of a student’s mental state
My partner has been looking at areas to shoot the
interview and I’ve been researching my questions to
ask
I learnt that planning is vital in the production of
anything your create if you have a set deadline
I’m slightly behind but should be able t catch up
quickly in my spare time

When shooting I found that planning helped a lot
because I knew the room we were filming in an what
b-roll I wanted to shoot to fit the video
We set up a meeting with a member of a safe
guarding team at Henley college, in her office at the
college. They answered the question thoroughly and
gave me important answers that will benefit the
audience in the future.
The lighting was not very good in the video as we
were only using the natural lighting the outside
produced. Also I could have used a more varied use
of camera angles in the interview.
As a group it was less stressful as the worked was
shared and not to hectic, however working in a group
can be stressful because the members may have
different views on an idea
Outside the lesson I didn’t really do much as the only
work I could do I needed to sue the resources at the
college such as premier
