I. Project Summary
Smart LBox Manufacturing Corp. together with its main goal we propose our Smart
LBox as an innovative project that could greatly improve our daily lives especially in this
time where new technology is making a big impact to everyone. The focus of this project
is to give convenient to students who are taking packed lunches in school. Our
company is located at 2nd floor MTE Building Matandang Balara Tandang Sora, Quezon
City. Smart LBox are available at Ever Gotesco Mall Commonwealth. There will be
designated kiosk outside to inform our customers and give convenience to them. We
also have training and seminar program to introduce and try Smart LBox. Equipments
and Machineries that needed in are listed on the following chapters.

Background of the Study


The rapid development of science and technology brings much convenience to our
lives, but we also have to deal with a lot of real problems at the same time. The product
design of modern life needs to reflect ‘human-oriented’, making the humane concept
throughout the product design to make the product that the users want and to reflect the
designer's rational care. As prices of commodities rise, the cost of living in big cities
increases causing more people to bring their lunch box and save a little from their
budget.

figures pertaining to the global market for electric lunch box after thoroughly studying it
from different angles. It throws light on the factors providing tailwinds and headwinds to

Our company is composed of a group of entrepreneurs who seeks to promote
innovation and has a passion for improving lives. We design and build everything from
simple mechanical designs to complex technical equipment. Now, we’re taking our
robust design and manufacturing and applying it to the consumer product.

Smart LBox is our first and major consumer products; we’re focusing on
industrial/technical innovation, and we’re excited to commit ourselves to a product we
believe can change the way ordinary people think about their meals.

We are located at 2nd floor MTE Tower 685 TandangSora Ave., MatandangBalara,

companies, bringing innovation by creating a battery heated lunch box that could keep
packed food fresh and healthier.

Our roadmap starts with our mission. It declares our purpose and serves as a standard
against which we weigh our actions and decisions.

 We design Smart LBox to maintain freshness and healthier foods for our
customers.

Target Market

Starting a business is not an easy thing. From planning and designing to producing the
product consists of hard work, determination, and teamwork. But the most important is
to know who would be those persons that are in need of your product. The target
market of Smart LBox is going to be those college students who use to bring their own
food in school.

Description of the Target Market


Our ideal customers for Smart LBox are students of Diliman College ages 18 and above
that has a proper understanding of how to use the Smart LBox. Our target market is
located at Diliman College Commonwealth Avenue, Diliman Quezon City with a total
population of 118 according to Diliman College Registrar Office.

Demand
The table bellow shows the demand for Smart LBox. Assume that the population
increases by 36% every year.

 We can create 2 pieces of Smart LBox every day. Multiplied by the number of
working days in a month which is 24 days then multiply again by the number on
months in a year which is 12 months. The answer will be the annual supply of
Smart LBox. (2 * 24 * 12 = 576)
 Assumes that 10% will be the increase of supply in each year.

marketing plan helps to promote our steps and action towards our goals.Make it

students.

the included insolated bag.
C. Free one insulated bag and car charger with every purchase of Smart LBox.
D. The product can be replaced on the following conditions:
i. 2 to 3 days from the day of purchase the container is broken.
ii. 2 to 3 days from the day of purchase the charger is not working.
iii. 2 to 3 days from the day of purchase the battery discharge easily.
iv. The customer’s negligence of the product is not accepted.

market, we use Pricing for Market Penetration strategy. We believe that with its low

Smart LBox is available at Ever Gotesco Mall Commonwealth, Quezon City. It is


a good location for a business since malls and supermarkets are places we visit every
hour of the day.

During the promotional period, we will be going to have a kiosk outside Ever
Gotesco mall to inform our prospective customers of our promotional activities and to
provide convenience by bringing Smart LBox in a place where they can easily be
reached.

The market projection of our business is based on the surveys conducted and
information gathered within Diliman College. Projected supply, demand and sales for
the first five years of operation is based on the population growth, capacity to supply
and trends. We also consider our competitors to analyze our full advantage against
them. As we have seen in our demand-and-supply analysis, we conclude that we can
comply and supply the market based on our production capacity. Advertising will be
through flyers, brochures, and websites.

As our company’s primary goal is the safety and good quality of our product, bellow
are the list of machineries and equipments that we will going to use in the operation:

 Pollution Control Equipment – since our Plant location is in a residential area, we


decided to use pollution control equipment. This equipment is cable of reducing
emissions by cleaning exhaust and dirty air and also prevents water pollution.
 Waste Machine – helps to control our waste materials.
 Electronic Test Equipments – use for testing our product since our product has
electronic components.
 Welding Machine – use for joining some thermoplastics of the lunch box.
 Electric Drill – use for making holes.

Plant Location
Our plant location is at 2nd floor MTE Tower in TandangSora Ave.,
MatandangBalara, Quezon City. With a total area of 2125.274 sqm with a total floor
area of 180 m² and has 2 elevators.
The structure is complete with retail floors for banks, convenient stores, fitness center,
health, beauty, and wellness clinics, and restaurant centers that are essential for any
business which requires comfort for its employees, not to mention its accessibility to
public transportation as it is conveniently within the area of MRT Line 7. Also, we chose
this location for it is accessible for us since our target market is located at Diliman
College.
