More relaxing and comfortable- accommodates students who need to

move and not be restricted in a chair

Shy students may exclude themselves by sitting faraway

Sitting on a carpet can be too relaxed and children are more likely to be

distracted during the lesson

Some students may find attending a lesson on the floor tiring and may not

have clear view of the teacher
