Competition Rules

Science has no boundaries, but scientists have the motherland.

Science has no boundaries, but as all countries are adopting Industry 4.0

as the development strategy, we need to cultivate high quality talents with

innovative spirit and practical capability. This competition simulates the

real intelligent logistics scenario, which improves the comprehensive

application ability of the participants for intelligent vision, self-driving,

intelligent robot system and path optimization, and combines the mature

artificial intelligence technology modules to cultivate students'

engineering practical ability and innovation ability. At the same time, the

competition scenes are designed to be close to real production and safety

conditions. The concept of Industry 4.0 is popularized in primary and

secondary schools, so that students can experience the charm of artificial

intelligence technology during the practice of competition and the

Ⅳ. Competition tasks

1. Primary school group competition sites and tasks

The Transport Challenge (primary school group) competition simulates

an intelligent logistics system consisting of 1 robotic arm and 1 vehicle.

The participating team needs to write intelligent programs to control and

complete the handling, transport and unloading of materials. The outcome

will be determined by calculating scores according to the completed tasks

in prescribed time.

The length and width of the site are 2200mm*1400mm. And the site is

divided into material handling area, unloading area and driving area. The

size of the robot placement area in the material handling area is

158mm*158mm. The number of materials that can be placed in the raw

material area is 12 (4*3). The size of the unloading area is

250mm*180mm.

7
Shenzhen Yuejiang Technology Co., Ltd

The primary school group needs to complete the following tasks:

(1)Material handling: The team uses the handling robotic arm to grab

the task material from the raw material area and place it in the top loading

area of the vehicle.

(2)Material transport: When the material is moved to the vehicle, the

vehicle drives unidirectionally along the guide line to the unloading area.

The vehicle can transport along the guide line for multiple times. For

example, if the participating team sets the vehicle to transport 4 materials

at a time, then at least 4 line tracking transport tasks must be completed

within the time specified in the competition to ensure that all materials

are transported to the unloading area.

(3)Material unloading: The vehicle patrols the line to the unloading area.

After reversing into the unloading area, the vehicle should unload the

material to the unloading area via the tipping bucket without exceeding

the boundary. If the material exceeds the boundary, the corresponding

score will not be counted.

(4)Starting point and ending point: The vehicle starts from the starting

area, completes the material loading and unloading tasks and then returns

to the ending area to end the competition and obtain the parking score.

2. Middle school group competition sites and tasks

The Transport Challenge (middle school group) simulates an intelligent

identifies the material color by the color sensor and places it in the top

loading area of the vehicle.

(2)Material transport: When the material is moved to the vehicle, the

vehicle drives unidirectionally along the guide line to the unloading area.

The vehicle can transport along the guide line for multiple times. For
