Projects Undertaken

1.Steganography Tool:(July’08 to Dec’08)

The major objective of this project is to develop a tool ,which can hide data in
other files like images and audio and we can send these files over internet such
that third party doesn’t know that there is secret message embedded.It also
includes cryptographic methods to provide double security.
Algorithms Used : Least Significant Bit(LSB) and Least Significant Digit (LSD)
Algorithms for encoding and decoding and cryptographic
algorithms for Encryption and Decryption.
API's Used : Image API,Sound API,Security API in Java.
GUI Creation : Swings Frame Work in Netbeans.

2.Video and Audio Conferencing Tool :(Jan'09 to May'09)

This is a LAN based conferencing software tool that is being used for audio
and visual conferencing, uses multiple unicasting as the core technology .This a
java based tool, using the java media frame work as the back-end.One application
of the tool is to develop a virtual classroom

3.Shape and Character Recognition (Jul’09 - Dec’09)

In this project we would like to extract global geometric properties from the
input geometric shapes and use decision tree to filter out unwanted shapes using
distinctive criteria. The recognition of the characters (English alphabets) would be
carried out by using Kohonen Neural Networks.
API's Used : Java Kohonen Nueral Network Libraries.

4. Image Classifier (Jan'10 - May'10)

In this Project I developed a System which could classify a given image in to
basic eight classes of Sceneray images..The first step is Natural Vs Artificial and then
finally the given image to one sub-class under them.
Software Used : MATLAB 8.
GUI creation : GUIDE GUI builder in MATLAB.
