Minutes of the 3rd SHS Faculty Meeting

I. Reading and Correction of the Previous Minutes


A. The following are the corrections:
 Line 7 – change Second SHS Faculty Meeting to “Minutes of the 2nd
SHS Faculty Meeting”
 Line 12 – add “Mae” after Melanie
 Line 19 – change H to “h”
 Line 37 – change Mdm. Dimpas to “Mrs. Maria Alethea B. Dimpas”

B. Business Arising from the Previous Minutes

1. SHS Academic Coordinator’s Concerns

Mrs. Maria Alethea B. Dimpas said that the number of special


examination takers has minimized and advised the advisers to make
a follow up on their students who have failing grades in the first
quarter.
She reminded the teachers to continue the cleanliness of their
respective classrooms.
She added that the forms for Work Immersion are already submitted
but there are some lacking information especially the date of
employment. Submission of Test Questions and Table of
Specifications are well followed. She also reminded the teachers to
submit the Professional Learning Community (PLC) Report as one of
the requirement for the clearance.

2. Prefect of Discipline’s Concerns

Ms. Chares A. Encallado reminded the advisers to make a follow up


on their students not to use cell phones during classes. No using of
cell phones during recess might be implemented.
She added that the cleanliness of the classrooms will be checked
and monitored.

I. Call to Order and Opening Prayer

Ms. Marian D. Gulle called the meeting to order at 1:30 PM. The opening prayer
was led by Ms. Queenie M. Rabor.

Mr. Cyrile Kim W. Caballero, Ms. Rachelle Ann I. Castaños, Mr. Patterson D. Ponce,
Mr. Ramil C. Remo, Mrs. Liza C. Rivera, Ms. Mary Ann Q. Sapio, and Mr. Benjie C.
Vanzuela were absent during the meeting.

II. Agenda
A. SHS Academic Coordinator’s Concerns

Mrs. Maria Alethea B. Dimpas reminded the teachers for the requirements of the
clearance that will be submitted before October 30, 2019. She added that those
teachers who attended seminars and In-service trainings will have to make insights
and submit it at the end of the school year.

The following are the requirements for the clearance signing:

 Learning Guide
 Classroom Instruction Delivery Alignment Map (CIDAM)
 Alignment Classroom Instruction Delivery (ACID) Plan
 List of Instructional Materials
 Professional Learning Community (PLC) Report
 Compilation of Test Questions and Table of Specification

Mrs. Dimpas also reminded the teachers of their advisory duties such as cleanliness
and orderliness of their respective classroom.

Advisers must come to school before 7 o’clock to facilitate their advisory during
morning activity and also must check their classrooms before the end of the class.
The following are the schedule of activities for the month of October and
November 2019:

 October 21-25, 2019 – Enrollment for the 2nd Semester of Senior High School
 October 23, 2019 – Living Rosary
 October 25, 2019 – Deliberation of Top Achievers and Failures
 October 28, 2019 – General Cleaning of the Faculty
 October 29, 2019 – In-Service Training for Personnel
 November 04, 2019 – Start of Classes for 2nd Semester and Awarding of Top
Achievers

Tasking for Deliberation of Top Achievers and Failures:

 Presentation for Grade 11 - Ms. Queenie M. Rabor


 Presentation for Grade 12 – Mrs. Virve Joy C. Del Socorro
 Prayer - Ms. Melanie Mae V. Angtud

 Secretary including the documentation – Ms. Jemna U. Pitogo

The requirement for the 2nd Semester Enrollment is the completely signed
clearance.

For deliberation of top achievers and failures, teachers must bring their class
records, hard and soft copy of the grade sheets.

Mrs. Maria Alethea B. Dimpas also reminded the teachers of using the comfort
room one student at a time. There was also a monitoring for the Work Immersion,
she asked for the updated matrix and the list of tasks signed by the Grade 12
advisers. And possibly by the month of February, there is a Work Immersion exhibit
to be held at KAI Gym.

B. Prefect of Discipline’s Concerns

Ms. Chares A. Encallado mentioned the names of students for suspension


accumulated from June to September.

She added that if a student is absent, a letter of excuse signed by the parent or
guardian must be presented before entering the classroom. Moreover, if the
student is absent for 3 consecutive days, the adviser will have the initiative to notify
or call the parent or guardian. And if student is suffering from any illness, a medical
certificate is attached to Form 2.

Mrs. Dimpas said that changing of academic uniform is allowed only when there
is a presentation.

Advisers should also check the cleanliness of classrooms right after the
examination.

C. Coordinator of Students’ Affairs Concerns

Ms. Chares A. Encallado reminded the club advisers to check the club activity
proposal, club bulletin board, attendance, minutes of the meeting, progress
report, and to submit 10 bottles of 1.5 liters per club.

D. Adviser’s Concerns

Ms. Queenie M. Rabor asked for the performance of Frederick Villaruel.

Mrs. Maria Alethea B. Dimpas said that Fil Andrew Antenero might possibly fail her
subject.
E. Other Matters

Ms. Jenika May B. Arioja mentioned the Cumulative Records. No form, no signing
of clearance.

III. Adjournment and Closing Prayer

The meeting was adjourned at exactly 4:06 PM with a closing prayer which was
led by Ms. Queenie M. Rabor.
