 INTRODUCTION

• By incorporating technology in the classroom students are able to access

lessons and interact with peers instantly. Using technology we can meet the
needs of all students by incorporating their learning styles. Technology also
allows students to give each other feedback and promotes accountability
in their own learning. As teachers, we must use all the tools available to us
to help our students reach their educational potential.
 Using technology, students
who are unable to attend the
classroom due to weather
conditions can do school work
from home (Berger, 2018).
TECHNOLOGY HELPS STUDENTS WITH
ACCESSIBILITY CONCERNS
Students are able to take
notes digitally which helps
them find information more
quickly by using key word
searches (Tausend, 2013).
 Technology allows students to
collaborate easily and instantly by using
programs that allow multiple editors at a
time such as google docs (Mareco,
2017).

ENCOURAGES
COLLABORATION Students can also access their notes
from multiple devices which allow them
to track changes and google drive
“shows revision updates made by each
contributor” (Tausend, 2013).
 Through the use of collaborative
technology students can give each
other feedback in real time (Tausend,

ALLOWS FOR
INSTANT Technology allows teachers to monitor

themselves to the assignment and allows
for enhanced interaction (Mareco,
2017).
Technology is just a tool. In terms of getting the
kids working together and motivating them, the
teacher is most important

through the use of technology in the
classroom
• Teach students digital citizenship and
proper online behaviors
• Utilize technology to incorporate all
learning styles in the classroom
 CONCLUSION
Technology in the classroom can be a
great asset to students if incorporated
properly into the curriculum. Technology
can serve as a means to reach students
who are unable to attend the classroom
so they do not miss out on instruction and
fall behind. It can also be used to
promote collaboration between students
and teachers by teaching the students
how to use programs that allow for
instant feedback from educators and
peers.
