 PURPOSE OF VISIT:-
Electrical Engineering Dept. of UVPCE College, decided to arrange one day Industrial visit for
Electrical Engineering students to improve practical knowledge and get benefited their theoretical
knowledge In W.T.P.S, Students will get benefit regarding their theoretical Subject of conventional
power engineering, thermal engineering and many more.

 INTRODUCTION:-

The Wanakbori Thermal Power Station is located near Wanakbori Dam on the bank of Mahi
River in Kheda District. It is a Coal Based Power Station. There are seven units of 210 MW
each with a total installed capacity of 1470 MW. All the above units are of BHEL make.

Conclusion: From this industrial visit at wanankbori Thermal power station

(W.T.P.S). We gain the Knowledge of how power is generating using a coal combustion at
thermal power plant which we are theatrically studied and how a generating station converts
heat energy of coal combustion into electrical energy that we see practically at visit.
