ABSTRACT

Culture and Art is important in our society because they can form communities and can

influence the public. Also, can make people remember about a certain part of our past, also

they can be use in our everyday life from small production of things to bigger events, we can

also see art anywhere we go, from the things we see outside to the piece of clothes we’re

wearing and also to the things we perform. Many of us has the passion to create and innovate

anything that can be helpful and useful for the development of our society. Arts are not only

for display or for performance; it can also help the community to contribute for their cultural

and creative industries to economic growth. But nowadays, people think that art isn’t important

because it doesn’t look like that it is essential for our daily life. Some people don’t even see

income in art, that’s why it is so hard for the culture and art facilities and structures to be

maintain or even to start a facility. Thus, there is a need of public awareness. This paper offers

strategies on how to create an awareness to the public to help them understand and learn the

Culture and Arts of the Philippines and help to promote it.
