Maryam used many management strategies such as stickers and ClassDojo. However, she used popcorn strategy which makes

playing with the scissors.

Maryam used oral questioning as formative assessment. I saw her asking each student during activity time and make sure that
they are understanding such as where is the cat?. Maryam start asking the students from the beginning of the lesson. Ask them
to come to the board and answer the questions. By the end of her lesson she did a game for them as an assessment to see if
they learn new vocabulary or no.

Reflection (to be completed after discussion of Peer Review with colleague): e.g. how did you feel about
conducting a formal observation? How did your colleague feel about being observed? How did you feel about
discussing your observations with your colleague after the lesson? How did your colleague react to your assessment?
Did she agree with your evaluation? Which of the suggestions you made will your colleague apply in her next lesson?
Do you and your colleague feel that this was a valuable experience? Why/Why not?

Maryam feels quite sad with her lesson because her students were noisy, and the lesson was little rush. She feels so
hard to get mad in front of the children and shy cant rise her voice volume that’s why the students weren’t lesson to
her. I set with Maryam after her lesson and tell her strengths and weaknesses. She was very acceptable and know
her mistakes already. I gave her some recommendation to follow in her next lesson such as rise her voice and don’t
be afraid to stop the lesson if the students were misbehavior. Maryam was fine with me doing observation for her
and she feels comfortable. We think it’s a good experience to do peer observation so we can learn from each other.
