LESSON PLAN LESSON: habitats change

Students will be able to:

Students are learning how the habitats change , What happens when habitats change,

Link to prior learning: Students will need to be familiar with Animal habitats and what's the need to
survive.

Resources & Time Starter (10 minutes)

In the begging of class teacher will do brainstorm, to see what the

The teacher will explain that, there are 2 ways that reason to habitats change,
first is Human Activities and the second one is Natural Events.

Human activities such as Hunting, Pollution, construction, logging, the teacher


will explain each one.

Natural Events such as Fire, Floods, volcano, Drought, the teacher will explain
each one and show them pictures.

Then the teacher will ask them to tell ways that save the animals when their
habitats change. re their ideas in groups .

Habitat picture
Key words The teacher will give them two papers to fold the papers. students will Cut out
Colors
and glue the writing boxes side-by-side onto a piece of colored construction
paper. Write a sentence or two about the natural events and human activities
that affect habitats change. They will draw and write about how habitats
change.

Low group:

The teacher will give them posters and colors, they have to choose a habitat
and draw it on one side, on another side they have to draw when habitats
change, for example, they will a forest on one side on another side they will
draw a building in the forest.

During the activity, the teacher will go around and ask them questions.

• What can cause habitats to change?

• What happens when habitats change?

• What happens to the meadow, woods, and animals that live there?

• What happens to animals and plants when habitats change?


Resources Plenary (5 minutes)

In the end, students will present their posters. students will tell the teacher what
they did , what is Human Activity that affects habitat, and what is Natural Events
effect habitat change.
