HOW TO USE secureCRT IN

LCD ,LED TV REPAARING

1:- open rt809 programmer first interface and click
tool chain toolchain

2:- Click secureCRT

3:-click connect if show above dialog box. It shows every time
when secureCRT opens if “show dialog on startup” checked.

4:- Click quick connect icon if previous dialog

not appears
1

5:- Click protocol dropdown list

1 6:-from protocol drop down list select “serial”

7:- from port dropdown list select your programmers com port
number connected to “your” PC or laptop. In my case it is com
port4. To see your com port assigned to your programmer go to
my computer propertiesdevice managerports (com&lpt)
.& reconnect your programmer

8:-from baudrate drop down list select appropriate baud rate .it
may be different board to board. if log file shows unreadable
characters change baudrarte.
9:-click connect and when blank log file display remove board
power and than powerup (apply power)the board.

Tv startup Log file displays after power on

RT809 comes with a serial print fuctionality.

secureCRT is a terminal emulator

Serial.print in the other hand is more versatile , it will do the

conversion for you from ASCII to binary it also can convert to
BIN/ HEX/OCT/DEC but you need to specify a second argument
like so

What is emulator?.

In computing, an emulator is hardware or software that enables one

computer system (called the host) to behave like another computer
system (called the guest). An emulator typically enables the host
system to run software or use peripheral devices designed for the
guest system. Emulation refers to the ability of a computer
program in an electronic device to emulate (or imitate) another
program or device.

Best example of an emulator is windows based bluestack which

provide platform in windows operating system to run android
applications.

What is terminal emulator?

A terminal emulator, terminal application, or term, is a program

that emulates a video terminal within some other display
architecture. Though typically synonymous with a shell or text
terminal, the term terminal covers all remote terminals, including
graphical interfaces. A terminal emulator inside a graphical user
interface is often called a terminal window.
Terminal emulation is the ability to make a given computer appear
like an actual terminal or client computer networked to a server or
mainframe. Today, this is often done via software to access data or
programs on the server or mainframe, which are usually only
available to the terminal being emulated.

What is serial print?

Prints data to the serial port binary stream as human-readable

ASCII text.

what is API?

API for file input/output might give the developer a function that
copies a file from one location to another without requiring that the
developer understand the file system operations occurring behind
the scenes.[1]

What is secureCRT?

SecureCRT is the ideal tool for securely connecting any

Windows workstations to host-based applications on Windows,
UNIX, Linux, or VMS systems. One application takes care
of all your SSH2™, SSH1, Telnet, and serial connections.
In this age of internal and external threats, it is more important
than ever to protect passwords, user accounts, data, and
computer systems. SecureCRT provides security for remote
access, file transfer, and data tunneling by combining the open
Secure Shell protocol with robust, mature terminal emulation.

What is BIST?

Built-In-Self-Test is used to make faster, less-expensive integrated

circuit manufacturing tests. The IC has a function that verifies all
or a portion of the internal functionality of the IC. In some cases,
this is valuable to customers, as well. For example, a BIST
mechanism is provided in advanced fieldbus systems to verify
functionality. At a high level this can be viewed similar to the PC
BIOS's power-on self-test (POST) that performs a self-test of the
RAM and buses on power-up.

Computers
The typical personal computer tests itself at start-up (called POST)
because it's a very complex piece of machinery. Since it includes a
computer, a computerized self-test was an obvious, inexpensive
feature. Most modern computers, including embedded systems,
have self-tests of their computer, memory and software

What is baud rate?

A number related to the speed of data transmission in a system.

The rate indicates the number of electrical oscillations per second
that occurs within a data transmission. The higher the baud rate,
the more bits per second that are transferred.
