5 biggest challenges of learning English

According to Kate Wilson, one of the most famous practiced languages is the English language, and it’s

probably the most used languages throughout the world, and the reason why most people wanted to learn

English mainly because English can put you in a higher rank in your job, or to be sociable experienced in

talking to other people around the earth. English might be a famous language to master, but it does not

mean that it is easy to learn quickly, there are certain types of steps that people will go through, but if you

are already familiar with it then you already have an advantage of mastering the English language.

These are the things that all of you must face in order to learn and write English:

1. Grammar

English is quite tricky that makes it hard to memorize, master and use effectively. Surely the practice of

using the correct grammar could be complex, particularly if you are in the situation where in the person

you are talking to is quite a fast paced in speaking. Practicing grammar is like knowing how to drive, you

may memorize all of the theories and the mechanics, but surely you won’t be good at it unless you

practice it until it becomes your second nature to you. Grammar is very essential, misstated use of

grammar may baffle the person you’re making conversation of, and perhaps confuse the meaning you are

pertaining to say. Another is English user’s who’s their main language is English are very strict with the

right way of using grammar, they can easily determine if one is doing it wrong, they are very proud of

their language and they look down on those people who using it wrongfully.

2. Vocabulary

Vocabulary is mostly hard, especially if it is about verb variations and knowing which tense shall be

observed in different situations. As a matter of fact, one of the largest vocabularies in all languages is the

English language, and non-english users will have a hard time in mastering it. If one used vocabulary
incorrectly, it would be very easy for people whose first language is English to notice the mistake.

However, it doesn’t change the meaning of your work, but it does make your text look weak.

3. Slang and colloquialism

Since the English language is quite complex with its difficult vocabulary and tricky grammar, there are

only enough materials for students who could learn English, and only some are knowledgeable to the

slang words that is used by the language’s primary users in daily conversations. And also, some sentences

could be full of slang words, so keeping up with a talk might be ahrd who does not know what they are

trying to say.

4. Pronunciation

Learning how to pronounce English is very essential yet can be very hard. English users have already

been taught this to them when they are still young and fresh, that explains why can they pronounce silent

letters in words despite their age, also they are exposed unconsciously in knowing how to pronounce and

use it effectively state the right information. As an addition, despite that having English as your first

language, it can always be hard to pronounce some words rightfully.

5. Variations in English

The English variations in each form could be always be hard to understand, for instance, the

dissimilarities of exercising formal and informal language or the dissimilarities of spoken and written

language. This directs students writing words phonetically, i.e. how would they speak of it than how it is

really spelt, and practicing informal language, could be even slang that they have got it, in formal

situations which can probably be looked at negatively.

Do your best in mastering one of the hardest languages around the globe today… remember focus and

practice is the way.
