Hi Team,

Question for everyone!

OFFLINE
Currently, my set up is one PC that manages everything
(playout, importing, playlist management ect.) My hope is that
I will be able to have the Central PC as the Playout (for talent),
2 one PC using the SAME library to be able to build playlists
and send/export them to the Central PC (including all cued
tracks ready to go). Lastly the third PC for importing audio for
production (and potentially music from the MCR).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes just share the audio folder on central pc

Yes, but I want to be able to create cued up and ready

playlists to then be shared across to the Control PC.
Effectively I would like if possible for it to behave like RCS

If you want something to behave the same as something else,
you'd be best of to use that other solution.

I don't know Zetta, so I can only comment on your initial

question. Yes, you can run RDJ on several systems and share
database and music tracks, so you'd be able to pre-produce
shows/playlists. How all depends on the situation: do you want
to access the playlists instantly on the production machine,
are the machines all on the same location, if not, how is the
network connectivity between them, etc.

If everything is in the same location, you could simply make

the database available to the other machine and sharing the
music files. If the locations are seperated, you could still make
the database available, but you'd possibly have to make some
kind of synchronisation for the music files.

I use 1 computer for the STUDIO and several others that act
as my own network. The are off location and even in other
states. I use drop. I link up my file directories, and backup
OFFLINE
database on my studio. Then in each network pc I restore that
same database. I then do a relocate files and finally verify
tracks. both in utility manager. I use google remote desktop to
361 run the utilities on each network pc.

As far as i can understand the solution could be a shared

DBase with the music also shared. Keep in mind that every
change is picked up by all the connected computers. So if one
OFFLINE
computer playes a track, it's ggoing to be marked as "played"
on the other 2 computers.
