Literature Review:
Nowadays, technology has advanced, taking under its influence the education.
Distance education is a new method that has obtained an expansion in many
educational institutions. Nowadays, many of the tools that are at the service of
education (books, articles, photos, etc.) are digitalized, enabling their use at any
time (Elekaei & Tabrizi & Chalak, 2018).
Term definition: “Distance learning, also called distance education, e-learning,
and online learning, form of education in which the main elements include
physical separation of teachers and students during instruction and the use of
various technologies to facilitate student-teacher and student-student
communication” ( Simonson & Berg, 2016).
Distance education has many advantages and has become a helpful way for
students. Can be said that distance education is a global connected system.
Many programs, starting from the middle school and enclosing at Ph.D., are
using the e-learning for their classes. The usage of various technological
devices that has seen wide application in education made it possible. These
tools also provide more beneficial relations between different schools and
universities. The practice of various tools for e-learning means more usage of
technology and the growing importance of IT, which would help the sector of the
economy and, knowing how to apply them will become an important criterion for
employees, (Raboca1, & Cărbunărean, 2015).
Student's skills in technology become better and learn how to use more online
sources. Before submitting their assignments, they can check and rethink their
topics (Al-Asfour, 2012).
According to researches, it is worth-mention that distance education offers a
lifelong education. Students, even after graduation, would be able to
communicate with other students, colleges, professors, or to have access to
different information. In this way, they will always learn new things.
Alongside long-life education, we will have a paperless education which means
fewer problems with papers and documents. Without these bureaucracies, there
will be more students attending different programs and, in the end, more
graduated students (Raboca1, & Cărbunărean, 2015).
Another advantage that distance education offers to students is flexibility. They
can have access to their lessons from where they went and helps them finish
their assignments when they want according to the deadline decided by the
professor (Al-Asfour, 2012).

Just as there are advantages to teaching classes online, there are also
disadvantages.
Conducted from different experiments and researches, the cooperation between
students in online classes is less than face-to-face courses. When they are
together in class, divided into small groups, they can understand the lesson from
the teacher better and help each other at the same time. Especially middle and
high school can discuss other things during an online lesson and, the teacher
cannot control this situation (Novotná & Jančařík, 2017).
With the application of distance education, a high number of staff and teachers
will not be needed because “e-learning doesn’t require as much auxiliary staff”.
No more secretaries, cleaning personnel and, a qualified IT person can do a
considered part of the work that can be done by a group of employees (Raboca1,
& Cărbunărean, 2015).
When a student attends an online course, it has no meeting face-to-face with his
professor and, sometimes they can feel left behind. The situation can influence
the performance of the students. They have to show a self-motivation that maybe
cannot be found in every student. And the most important is access to the
internet that sometimes can be a problem for students from different countries
(Al-Asfour, 2012).
The distance education can create a digital divide and take away chances to
meet people from different cultures, spend time and know each other (Raboca1,
& Cărbunărean, 2015).

specific with your examples. You can mention software/hardware names,
specific methods that you plan to use, etc.

paragraph)

Reflection:
In my opinion, distance education is a good method to apply in the department of
education after a specific age. For students who have not started high school yet
may be a problem applying this method. It is true that distance education
facilitates many things and enables students who are not active in the classroom
to perform well, but on the other hand, as mentioned in one of the above
research, their focus on computers and control by their teacher would be difficult.
Being face-to-face with teachers and peers, students will be more likely to
progress by developing different physical activities in the classroom.
On the other hand, distance education is a great system for undergraduate,
graduated and Ph.D. students. As explained by researches mentioned in this
writing, distance education saves them time by allowing them to spend their time
in other activities, engaging in family or work. I attend online classes and, this
has allowed me to work and pay school without any problem.
As a teacher who works with SPED (special education) students, I would not
recommend using distance education because their concentration is very
minimal and, they need someone at every moment. But, on the other hand, using
different technologies and applications to help with education, is a great way to
get students' attention.
