Colour Scheme Tutorial

Colour Editor
To change how RadioDJ looks you can change the scheme or create your own. To
change or create your own scheme open the “RADIODJ CONFIGURATION” window then
click on the “OPTIONS” button(Fig. 1).

With the “Settings” window open, select the “Other Settings” tab along the top(Fig. 2).

Changing Schemes
If all you want to do is to change a colour scheme, to one of the default ones, just select
one from the drop-down list by clicking on the Default to see what ones are already
included in the software by default(Fig. 3).

Edit Scheme
If you want to edit a colour scheme, select the colour scheme from the drop-down list, then
click on the small pencil and pad icon to the right of the selection drop down(Fig. 4).

Edit Current Scheme


You can select the colour editor from the “RADIODJ CONFIGURATION” window then click
on the “COLOUR EDITOR” button(Fig. 5), this will open the colour editor for the current
scheme.

Colour Editor
With the colour editor open you can now change the colours by clicking on a colour
swatch, in the “Colour” column on the right, that corresponds to a part of the RadioDJ you
want to change(Fig.6).

Clicking on one of the colour swatches will open the colour picker where you can select
any colour you wish. Once you have selected your colour click on the OK button(Fig 7).

Save Scheme
Before you close the colour editor, and to save your scheme, click on the two disk icons,
on the top left of the window and type a name for the scheme you created in the “Save As”
window that opens(Fig. 8).
If you want to save the file as it is, without renaming, just click on the single disc icon
beside the double one.
Warning: If you save the file as it is, without renaming it, it will overwrite the file that you
are editing!

You can now close the colour editor by clicking on the red check-mark in the top right
corner of the window(Fig. 9).

Go back to the “Settings” window and just select your scheme to refresh the screen and
see the changes(Fig. 3).
Please Note: If you created a new scheme with a new name you will not see this name in
the schemes list, you will need to close the “Settings” window and reopen it in order to see
your new Scheme name in the drop-down list.
Now just go show your new scheme by posting a screenshot of your scheme on the
RadioDJ forum at https://www.radiodj.ro/community/index.php?board=38.0, so others can
see your scheme.
