6-501.111 (A-B), (D) - CONTROLLING PESTS
Observation: Mouse droppings observed under shelves of beer coolers at the main bar and under the unused ice
bin at the North end of the main bar. Facility is still working with Ecolab on a monthly basis in an effort to
eliminate mice from the facility. Last visit from Ecolab was 11/8/19. Operator stated staff are routinely cleaning
areas where droppings are found.
Corrective Action(s): Clean noted areas where droppings were found. Continue to work with Licensed Pest
Operator to eliminate mice from the facility. CORRECT BEFORE THE NEXT INSPECTION.
Code citation: The PREMISES shall be maintained free of insects, rodents, and other pests. The presence of
insects, rodents, and other pests shall be controlled to eliminate their presence on the PREMISES by:
(A) Routinely inspecting incoming shipments of FOOD and supplies;
(B) Routinely inspecting the PREMISES for evidence of pests;
(D) Eliminating harborage conditions.
