Legacy Market Day

About 30 seventh and eighth grade student entrepreneurs from Tulsa Legacy Charter’s
Youth Entrepreneurs class recently hosted the school’s inaugural Legacy Market Day. The
school developed the project to bridge the gap between textbook learning and practi-

Variety Care honors Stuemky

Dr. John H. Stuemky was recently honored for his lifetime contributions to children,
education, and quality in medicine. Variety Care Foundation board Chair Leigh Ann
Albers and members of the selection committee presented Stuemky with the Bertha
Levy Memorial Award for Service during the 13th annual Variety Care Diamond Donor
Appreciation Reception. Stuemky is an international expert in the areas of emergency
pediatric care, child maltreatment, abuse and neglect and serves as an expert witness
