What are the strengths of the website?

One of the strengths that my website provides is the colour scheme that Perry has used. Perry has used the
colours grey, orange and white for his website. All this colours that he has used do all match to the logo of
the college and that is quite impressive.

Is the website suitable for the Purpose and User Requirements?

The website that Perry created should be promoting the Westlake College and deliver information about
the courses that the college offers to students that are aged 16+. In addition to that, the website should
attract students that are in Year 11 doing their GCSEs to that college. From what I saw on Perry’s website, I
think that Perry has met the user requirements and the website does fit for purpose.

Are there any improvements that can be made to the Website?

To make the website much better, Perry could add more interactivity to his website. Examples of
interactivities that Perry could add to his website is a gallery. This would save Perry more space on his
website as, he doesn’t have to create extra boxes for all the images. Another thing that Perry could do to
improve his website is to add more animations to his websites. This would make the website more
appealing and user-friendly. Furthermore, it would also attract more people to the website.

How does this improvement improve the functionality?

The improvement that Perry has made to his website will be quite beneficial for him because, it
would take up less space on the website. In addition, he doesn’t have to create more boxes for all
the images. So that’s why is it quite advantageous that Perry has added a gallery onto his website.
This wont not only have a positive impact on Perry, but also on the people that are using the
website. Instead of, scrolling down the website to see all the images of the college. They can just
slide through the gallery and that in a quick manner.

users to find the location of the college.

How does this improvement improve the functionality?
Having an interactive map on the college website will help the users to find the location of the
college much better. In addition to that, it will also allow the users to zoom in/out in the map and
that can help if you want to see the location of the college much better. Lastly, another advantage
that an interactive map will bring to the users is that the map can be viewed in different views such
as, the Street View. So all the features that the interactive map bring will eventually improve the
functionality of the website.

Another thing that I suggest Perry should do to his website is to add image magnifier that will
enlarge the image once the image is clicked.

Having an image magnifier on the college website will be very beneficial for the users, especially for
users who have issues with their vision. With that image magnifier will users be able to view images
that are small in a much bigger size and much clearer. Having this feature on the website will
eventually improve the functionality of the website, so that’s why is it quite good that this
improvement has been made.
