INTRODUCTION
To be an efficient worker, there are many factors one must consider, One of the most
common factors is the patience we can give in any particular situation in the workplace itself
or from people. To whom we can give our service, even how dedicated we are, how
hardworking, and how focus we are on our work. our patience can change everything.
3. What are the different attitudes of people that affects the housekeepers in the workplace?
PURPOSE OF THE STUDY
The purpose of this study is to let the people know how hotel housekeeping work
influences on hypertension management. be more nice to each and everyone so that we can
achieve a better work flow, and to be a efficient worker
Be more Patience
Be more Responsible
Be more Hospitable
Community: In the result of this study, could this condition increases your risk of heart
attack, heart failure and sudden cardiac death. Improved recognition of the importance of
systolic blood pressure Subthemes at the individual level included co-worker dynamics and
maintenance of transmigrate life.
People in community: they will be aware of this matter uncontrolled high blood
pressure increases your risk of serious health problems, including heart attack and
stroke. High blood pressure generally develops over many years, and it affects nearly
everyone eventually. And also they could, worst effect specially, in work on housekeeping.
Researcher: As a human being we must rest also don`t work too much.
RESEARCH QUESTION
Conceptual Framework
SELF-CARE
Hypertension or high blood pressure is a worldwide problem that effects approximately 15-
20% of all adults (Wang et al., 2008). Hypertension known as silent killer as it showed no
symptom. Even though it is simple to diagnose and usually can be controlled by healthy diet,
regular exercise, medication prescribed by doctors or a combination of these, untreated
hypertension will cause serious condition (Campbell et al., 2002). Hypertension is associated
with cardiovascular disease, insulin resistance, obesity, carbohydrate tolerance,
hyperuricacidemia, and atherosclerosis (Yeh et al., 2009).Secondary hypertension can be
caused by medical conditions such as renal parenchymal disease, renal artery stenosis,
hyperaldosteronism, or pheochromocytoma (Grossman et al., 2012).Temporary high blood
pressure also can cause by medications such as corticosteroids, nonsteroidal anti-
inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), cold medicines and birth control pills. Corticosteroids such as
prednisone and prednisolone will lead to Cushing syndrome in long-term use. Usage of
nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,(NSAIDs) increase blood pressure as well as will
interfere in anti-hypertensive treatment, and abolish its effect (Grossman et al., 2012).
The AHA issued guidelines in November 2017 that define hypertension as blood pressure
that is consistently higher than 130 over 80 millimeters of mercury (mmHg). Each time the
heart beats, it pumps blood into the vessels. BP is created by the force of blood pushing
against the walls of blood vessels (arteries) as it is pumped by the heart (WHO, 2013). An
increase in cardiac output without a decrease in peripheral resistance will cause both arterial
volume and arterial pressure to increase (Huether & McCance, 2012). Aldosterone causes
fluid and sodium retention, and these results in a further increase in BP (Beevers et al., 2007).
Many patients with hypertension have low levels of circulating endocrine renin and
angiotensin II, and, in these patients, the drugs that block the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone
system tend to be less effective (Beevers et al., 2007) The benefits of health behaviors for
clinical outcome of chronic disease have been widely found in the literature (Alaska Section
of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, 2013; Garrett & Bluml, 2005)

Methodology
This study adopted qualitative methodology via focus group. This qualitative study was based
on the Consolidated criteria for reporting qualitative research Phenomenology approach was
utilized in this study to develop an understanding about patients’ view on medication and
hypertension management. Phenomenology approach involves the use of the meanings of
living experiences and it is essentially “consciousness of” or an “experience of another The
topic of discussion was then sent to an independent experienced moderator for further
cleaning. The moderator ensured that topics to be discussed are up to the level of patients.

Conclusion and Recommendations
This study explored the hypertensive patients’ perspectives on the use of
medication and highlighted the issue of concerns about hypertension management.
The misconception about the side effect of antihypertensive medication has led to
poor adherence among the participants. The lack of knowledge towards the targeted
blood pressure level was found among the participants and its consequence
contributes to low level of self-monitoring of blood pressure.

Discussion
This study assessed hypertensive patients ‘perspective towards rational use of
medication and hypertension management. The existing findings have successfully
explored the different views of appropriate use of medication and hypertension
management
