Introduction

Bakal III is a barangay in the municipality of Talavera, in the province of Nueva Ecija. Its
population as determined by the 2015 Census was 6,565. This represented 5.26% of the total
population of Talavera.

Barangay Bacal 3 is a peaceful place where the peace and order of the village maintained by the
chief captain along with other members of barangay council.Barangay Bacal 3 also has a school
where you can study for free, with a health center providing free service.

Historical Population of Baragay Bacal 3,Talavera,Nueva Ecija

The population of Bakal III grew from 4,813 in 1990 to 6,565 in 2015, an increase of 1,752
people. The latest census figures in 2015 denote a positive growth rate of 2.33%, or an increase
of 748 people, from the previous population of 5,817 in 2010.

Location

Bakal III is situated at approximately 15.6927, 120.9130, in the island of Luzon. Elevation at
these coordinates is estimated at 59.8 meters or 196.2 feet above mean sea level.

Open Drains

If the open drains are left open, they become a health hazard to our community because the
drains it become a breeding ground for different disease causing parasites and other
microorganisms. And when the rainy season begins, the open drains can rapidly spread water-
borne diseases and infections.

And also it can cause an accident in our communit because at night you may not notice it.
Because there are only a few lights on the road.And sometimes our neighbors also fall here,
especially the children.

Conclusions
 We learned that a simple open drain can caused a hazard in one community,because it can
caused a different diseases,and also it can cause a accident because if you dont familiar in the
place where the open drains are in,you wont notice that you are already fall.

We learned that a simple drainage can also be dangerous for a whole community .And we
learned that If we are careful, we can avoid the harm that caused by our environment.

We think the solution that can be, to prevent accidents is by blocking the edge of the drainage
and by closing the hole.And it wouldbe better if they add some street light on the road for
avoiding the accidents.
