Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures

Fall 2019

Course Objective: Develop an understanding of designing structural elements (i.e., structural

components such as a beam, column, slab, etc) in preparation for designing a
structural system. The emphasis will be on designing with reinforced
concrete, however some steel design will be introduced in the last few
lectures.

(c) Show all units
(d) Show all your steps in obtaining a solution, present it in logical order and include
assumptions.
(e) On cover sheet or first page include your name, CEE366, date, and homework #.
(f) Use green engineering paper for homework. (See Admin Assistant, Room E-209A.) Use one
side only. Start a new problem on a new sheet.
