INSTALLATION

INSERT THE CD AND SELECT THE “SETUP” FILE, THEN FOLLOW THE INSTRUC-
TIONS AS BELOW.

DOUBLE CLICK THE ‘SETUP’ ICON

Double click the PC-Scan


Icon to run the Pc-Scan
program or:

Connect your PC and AD 300 with the black RS-232 cable supplied.

After connecting the


RS-232 cable, click on
the software download
button to update the
AD300.

After selecting the S/


W Download button
the PC Scan program
update screen will ap-
pear as below.
Select “cardall.dat”
file at the destination
folder.

NOTE Assign the file(cardall.dat) path


Select 56000 for Baud Rate
Select “Standard Pack” from Data Type

SELECT DATA DOWNLOAD


AND PRESS ’ ENTER’ KEY

Press START

After downloading is complete, press the on/off switch to reboot the AD 300

TROUBLESHOOTING

1. Check your software card and cable *Check the software card switch is
the writing position

2. Check the connection of RS-232 cable at the AD300 and PC end

3. Check your computer:

(I)) Power off/on your PC & AD300. Try Data Download Procedure again

* PC OS should be Win XP, Win 2000, Win ME, Win 98 or Win 95.

(ii) If the problem is not solved, try another computer or contact Technical
Support

If the PC or AD300 stopes responding then :-

1. Turn OFF AD300

2. Simultaneously, press “SHIFT + F1” key.

3. Press Power “ON” key whilst keeping pressed the “ SHIFT + F1”key.

4. You must keep pressing the “SHIFT + F1” key until the data download
screen is displayed.

5. The AD 300 will then go to “Data Download” mode directly. After “Data
Download” mode is displayed, please follow download procedure again
