EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

SIMTECH Industries is a professional manufacturers of Pneumatic products

Where they produce the products like Valves, Cylinders, Industrial Fittings,
Power packs and related accessories like filter regulators and Mounting
accessories.

The major production of the industries are cabin control valves

They also produce pistons and cylinder covers

The Raw materials are supplied from the foundry

INDUSTRY PROFILE

SIMTECH Industries is an Indian based manufacturing company Engaged in


the production of Tipper air controls.
The industry was established in the year 1995

Where they are reputed in the industry for supplying top grade components like
Pneumatic Cylinders, Hydraulic accessories.

The industry was awarded from WIPRO by “BEST SUPPLIER” in 2012

The Annual Turnover is around two to five crores Approximately

The industry infrastructure occupies around 8,000 square feet

 SAFETY FIRST WORK NEXT
 You are responsible for your own safety and for the safety of others.
 Refuse the work if their believe is unsafe
 Follow 5-S Rules
5S stands for the 5 steps of this methodology:
 Sort
 Set in Order
 Shine
 Standardize
 Sustain
These steps involve going through
everything in a space, deciding what's
necessary and what is not necessary,
putting things in order, cleaning, and setting up procedures for performing
these tasks on a regular basis.
 All accidents are preventable
 Do not take shortcuts always follow the rules
 If you are not trained, don’t do it.
 Use the right tools and equipments and use them in the right way.
 Access the risks before you approach your work
 Never wear loose clothes or slippy footwares.
 Practice good housekeeping.

Machining is the process of cutting, shaping, or removing material from a
workpiece using a machine tool.
All their machining is done on highest quality machine tools.
 Quality Checking
The Machined jobs are checked and it was confirmed as per standards
and requirments.
The process of achieving customers expectations.
 Packing
Face is the index of mind
They protect their products by packages
Packaging also refers to the process of design, evaluation, and
production.

 Where, We watch the professionals at work,
 The most important thing we learn from this Internship is newfound
Knowledge
 It was relevant to our desired carrier path and it sharpening our skills
 It was an opportunity to test our skills by ourself
 We got an idea from our biggest strengths are
 We know so many skills and how to apply them on a machines
 The flow of work from initial operation to the final operation of the
product
 How they made the control valve for dipper lorries
 Various machines and various technologies used now a days for
machining a product
 For machining they use various tools like cutter, drill, cutting tools,
multipoint cutting tools

 Overall internship is a really good program.

 SIMTECH Industries is a good place to do the internship since it
provides numerous benefits and advantages to the practical trainees.
 I have learned from different units and people I am grateful and
thankful to supervisor.
