Solution to Yongxiu
In November 2017, CRRC UT started the investment and construction
of the project after signing the "Travel and tourism Transport
Investment Cooperation Agreement" and "Yongxiu County tourism
and transport project management contract" with Yongxiu County
People's government.

The vehicle system selected for this project is Autonomous-Rail Rapid

Transit, it is the latest medium-volume tram developed by CRRC that
meets the needs of modern urban transportation. This system has the
newest virtual track technology, and operating with much lower costs,
provides a more safe and reliable operation, require simpler
maintenance process which suits perfectly in Yongxiu County.

2017年11月, 中车交通与永修县人民政府签订了《旅游观光交通投资合作
协议》和《永修县旅游观光交通项目经营合同书》后开始了这条旅游观
光线路的投资与建设。

项目中车辆系统选择了智轨电车, 是中车最新根据现代城市交通的需要
而开发的中运量电车。该系统使用了最新的虚拟轨道技术, 运营成本低、
运行安全可靠、维护方便运营成本低、运行安全可靠、维护方便, 非常
适合永修县的情况。

Autonomous-Rail Rapid Transit (ART)
 What is ART?

ART (Autonomous-Rail Rapid Transit) is a new developed

vehicle by CRRC.
It is a combination of tram and bus.
Why ART?
 Where can ART apply to?

• In large city: supplementary of large capacity rail transit.

Increasing density or connecting the rail transit;
• In medium and small city: main and backbone urban
passengers traffic system.
• Backbone passengers traffic system of special urban
functional area or passenger transportation corridor.
• Special function sight-seeing public traffic system.

Advanced Differences between BRT and ART
Advantages – Low Construction Cost
Compared with MRT, ART is only about 1/5 the investment.
 Advantages – Low Maintenance Cost
• The rail-less system provides low construction and maintenance cost, because
there are no railway tracks to maintain.
• Its light construction means that it can be implemented very rapidly into most
urban road systems without change and that after three years of trials there is
no sign of road damage.
• Having no permanent track enables flexible operations according to avoid
down time e.g. by suggesting detours in the case of road traffic accidents or
ongoing construction work.
• The vehicle based system interacts with an intelligent signal communication
feature enabling priority pass at traffic lights.
• Using quick charge batteries reduces the need for overhead cables en route
between the stations and produces no exhaust gases within urban areas.
