1. What are the problems of drinking bottled water? Mention two problems at
least.
The problems start here with extraction and production where oil is used to make
Water bottles. Useless plastic bottles appears on the streets, rivers, sea,
contaminating everywhere

2. What is the difference between bottled water and drinking water?


None, it’s just water, the difference lies in a packaging or manufacturing process.
Drinking water is potable water,” water able to human consume”, bottled water is just
the same in a plastic bottle or a bag

3. Describe the process involved in the manufacture of a plastic bottle.

Stretch blow molding is a manufacturing process used to create PET plastic bottles
and jars. Small pellets of plastic resin are pushed into an extruder and get melted.
Then they are injected into a steel mold that shapes them into plastic tubes
These preforms are the starting point for the plastic bottles. By injecting air into this
heated preform, the bottle shape is formed to the desired mold shape.

4. What happens with the plastic bottles after throwing them?


“Eighty percent end up in landfills, where they will sit for thousands of years, or in
incinerators, where they are burned, and releasing toxic pollution. The rest gets
collected for recycling. and I where the plastic bottles go.?
There are shiploads were being sent to India. it’s like a mountain of plastic bottles
from EEUU. These bottles were turning into lower quality products that would just be
trashed later.

5. What solutions can be implemented to solve this problem?


If we promote campaigns against “water industry”, promote de refill as a strategy,
glass bottles instead plastic make people conscious about that problematic to will
stop buying bottled water and drink tap water.

6. Is this problem common in your community? What does the community do


to face it?
Yes, this problem is common in my community. There are bottle water and bags of
water, it’s the same problem in a different package
We carry out campaigns so that people drink tap water and do not buy bottled water.

7. Are you going to drink bottled water again? Why? Why not?

Actually, I don’t buy any kind of package water, only if it’s an a emergency, but I
always carry a vacuum bottle with tap water

8. What will you do in the future to reduce the amount of plastic bottles used
in the world?
I will try not to drink bottled water and I will tell people and my family about the
consequences.
My strategy is carry a vacuum bottle everywhere I go, and I recommend it
