the writing was not as prevalent and not as considered. My writing skills were subpar to say the
least. I struggled with order and fluidity mainly. I had a way of getting my points across, but it
was not orderly. In this course, a sincere amount of time was put into the drafting process.
Having workshop documents to help organize my information was extremely helpful and
something I will be sure to use in the future of my writing. By the end of the class and some of
the last papers we wrote, I had previously organized information that I would include in my
papers. By doing this, I organized my information efficiently and had stronger pieces of writing.
It also helped balance out my time when writing papers. Also, peer reviewing other documents
helped give me a gauge on what to improve with the papers I wrote in this class. To have another
perspective is crucial as everyone writes differently, and another perspective provides better
insight into what I may be writing. The class was not easy by any means, but I can confidently
say I've improved thoroughly on my writing process. Specifically, in argumentation. Many of the

texts. Also, the understanding of how pathos, kairos, ethos, and logos were major points in

critiquing a piece.
As I mentioned earlier, the organization is a key point I took into effect in writing a text.
Prior to class, I had not drafted papers and I simply wrote on the go. Taking time to organize
papers based on sections and key points to talk about helped me properly use time wisely and
produced fluidity in my pieces. I do plan on using the drafting process for all the writings I use in
the future. This course sincerely helped me produce the results I was hoping for. With that, the
different forms of text covered in class helped give me a better understanding int many different
forms of writing. Looking at varieties in pieces like rhetorical analyses, personal essays, and
literary analyses all helped me succeed in this class. I know I put my max effort into some of
these writings, and the variety of pieces we read and wrote upon helped me to produce the best
final versions of my papers I could write. In the future, I can use what I’ve learned towards the
field of Criminal Justice which is my intended major. The use of notetaking and analysis of
