Course Description The structural systems of some structures used in architecture and engineering are summarized by giving
architectural students classifications of the bearing systems in various directions. Structural systems can be defined
as a collection of elements that transmit the external loads that affect them to the ground by carrying their own
weights. Architects and engineers must work together from the beginning of the building design so that the
structural system of the building can be determined accurately and optimally. In order to select an appropriate
structural system, it is essential that the availability of the structural systems in the architecture be known, including
the static, structural and shape characteristics. The purpose of the structural system courses should be to introduce
various structural systems together with the load transfer modes, starting from simple systems. In the meantime, it
is necessary to consider the transfer of freight in an economical way, form, use and aesthetic properties. A Building
Engineer is trying to create a bridge between architects and building engineers by trying to convey the issue of
structural Systems from the point of view. To summarize basic concepts of Static, Strength and Structural Science,
which are necessary for the calculation and dimensioning of structures after the description of structures and
effective loadings are done conceptually at the beginning level.
