Activity To make sure that the students are able to complete their project, I
will discuss all four seasons prior to assigning the project. Each day I
will discuss one season until we have covered all four of them. To
help the students learn the information, I will play videos that discuss
each season in detail. There will also be worksheets throughout the
week that will prepare the students for their project.
By the end of the week, I will have discussed all four seasons in
detail, and the students should be able to describe the basic
differences between the seasons. To allow my students to be creative
and demonstrate their understanding of the four seasons, they will
create a storyboard, using the website
https://www.storyboardthat.com, that describes the four seasons we
discussed in class. To start, students will choose one of the four
seasons to describe. They will then create a storyboard that has three
scenes. To earn full credit, the student must include the following
criteria:
1. Scene 1 must state the name of the season.
2. Scene 2 must include what the temperature and precipitation
is like during that season and what type of clothes are worn.
3. Scene 3 must include what the animals and plants are doing
during this season and how long/short the days/nights are.
The students will be given an entire class period to complete their
storyboards with the help of me and others who have finished their

own storyboards. If the student is unable to finish it, they will be able
to take it home and complete it with the help of their parents.

Technology The students will be using a computer to complete this project. They

create a story board about one of the four seasons.
