Learning Objectives : Understanding that animals have specific characteristics


and behaviour to protect themselves from extreme
weather.

Learning Outcomes : At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
(i) Identify specific characteristics and behaviour of
animals that protect them from very hot or cold
weather.
(ii) Describe how specific characteristics and behaviour
of animals help to protect them from very hot or
cold weather.

Prior Knowledge : Pupils have learnt and see the various animals in their
daily life.
