On Monday, March 19, I gave my students a quiz in Web Design using a Google Forms. These are efficient for conducting summative
assessments because it will automatically conduct an item analysis of weak areas for each student, and each question. After studying the results
of the quiz, I chose five questions that I will re-work. Four of the question, fewer that 70% of my students answered correctly. The last question I
need to re-work based on the tutorial lessons in this week's module.

In addition to reviewing HTML tables with my students, I will re- O cols="4"

work this question to: O colspan="4"
O columns="all"
To make a table data cell span all four columns of a table, choose O colspan="100%"
the correct attribute and value from the list below.

I would not include the full lines of code to choose from. This
would be a better assessment of their knowledge of the syntax
used to create a table in HTML. This requires the student to
engage higher order thinking to recall the correct code to create a
table, with a cell that spans the four columns.

In addition to reviewing the difference between rows and Choice 1- 6,4,6

columns, I will re-work this question to: Choice 2- 4,6,6

The table pictured below has ____ rows and ___ columns,
therefore, to code this table, you will open ___ table row tags.

I format the possible answers in radio buttons, so that the

students can only choose one response.

I will change the wording of this question to: O use bulleted list tag
To explain a procedure in step by step instructions on a web page, O use paragraph tag
which of the following would be the most effective way to code O use heading 2 tag
that information? O use ordered list tag

This adjustment will require the student to apply their

knowledge of HTML lists to a real-life situation.

I will change the wording of this question to: O I-commerce

The buying and selling of goods and services on the internet is known O web-commerce
as_________________. O e-commerce
O o-commerce
This change maintains a consistent length in possible responses. The
original answer choice contained a very long answer as the correct
answer, which according to the video in this module, is a big hint. I
also removed the "none of the above" answer.

I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote this quiz question in O in the tab of the window,
the above format. I will change the wording of this question to: O after the head tag,
The contents of the title tag appear ____________ when the web page O at the top of the page,
is viewed in the browser. O in the body of the page,

I couldn't easily assess how many kids answered this correctly as a

short answer response. Now that this is a fill in the blank answer, it is
more appropriate for a digital quiz.
