PLAN OF INDIVIDUAL WORK ON "Ergonomics"

Tasks of individual work

* To consolidate and deepen the theoretical knowledge of students, received by them during lectures and
seminars.

* To teach the use of various methods and methods of assessment and arrangement of the workplace;

* To give skills of independent work with the special literature in the field of ergonomics.

Individual work must be submitted no later than one week before the exam.

Contents and design of individual work:

To perform individual work, the student independently chooses a workplace by profession (accountant,
lawyer, etc., or his workplace). Assesses the impact of all the factors listed below on the efficiency of its
arrangement. It is obligatory to attach photo of working space and the workplace itself.

Based on the results obtained, student should determine:

1. Presence / absence of harmful factors.
2. The level of impact of identified factors and the impact on labor productivity.
3. Your opinion on the state of the workplace.
4. List of necessary measures to improve the parameters of the workplace.

Analysis should be carried out on the following parameters that determine the working conditions:
1. Sanitary and hygienic
-the air purity
- microclimate of the workplace (temperature, humidity, speed of air flow)
-Lighting
-Vibration and noise
2. Psychophysiological group
-level of physical / mental load
-working posture
-monotonous of work
-The mode of work and rest
3. Socio-psychological group:
-psychological climate
-Discipline of work
4. The aesthetic group
- designing a workplace in space:
a) Layout, location of the workplace in relation to the door, to the window, the wall, to other workplaces.
b) the organization of the workplace: the shape of the table, the material of the table, the color of the table,
the working zone. Chair: chair size, armrest backrest, adjustment
- color design of the workspace
-Greening the workplace
-Functional music
-The dress code or special clothes
-Architectural and artistic design

Individual work should be printed, the volume is not more than 10-12 pages (A4 format, font 12, 1
interval, the text is aligned on both edges, the red line is observed).

The title page of the essay should contain the name of the faculty, department, topic, surname, first
name, patronymic of the author, last name, first name, patronymic of the scientific supervisor, year of
implementation.

An example of the title page is attached at the end. Then follows the work plan / content. The content
should contain the following sections:

Annexes

All graphics, diagrams, drawings, tables, etc. must be sequentially numbered and signed.

Individual work, designed in accordance with all the rules, is provided to the teacher on time. The
lack of individual work will be the reason for not admission to the exam.
