1. You have to show a government issued ID card at the exam center for verification. IDs issued by
your employer do not count.
2. You cannot take any personal belongings inside the examination hall. You will be given a locker to
put your belongings.
3. You cannot take any personal stationery items inside the examination hall. Pencil, paper,
calculator, &ear muffs are provided by Prometric.
4. You should preserve your energy &take ample rest a night before the exam. You will need to sit &
concentrate for 4 long hours during the exam.
5. You will get 15 minutes to go through the instructions before the exam starts.
6. You should take a few short breaks during the exam to re-energize yourself.
7. Broadly speaking, PMP exam contains 3 different type of questions - Situational, Direct &
Mathematical. But questions are randomly distributed in the test.
8. There are 200 MCQ in the PMP exam. Out of these there are 175 regular Q and 25 pre-test
